Large potholes in alley behind 2410 4th St NE
  • 2410 4th St Ne Washington, District of Columbia - Edgewood
The alley entrance next to 2410 4th Street NE is too skinny for trucks to traverse as there is a utility pole in the paved alleyway. There is no narrow alley warning at this location so trucks attempt to travel down the alley and scrape along my house to make it to the block's alley. The other 2 alley entrances are wider and more easily accommodate trucks. A similar alley is signed one block to the North. Please add 'narrow alley' and 'no thru trucks' signs.
  • 9600 Martin Luther King Junior Highway Lanham, Maryland - Lanham-Seabrook
SHA's current rules require bike lanes on state roads that are worked on/upgraded in some capacity. This spot is one of silliest, not to mention most dangerous applications of these bike lanes. I cycle often, including in the Lanham area, and avoid MD-704 like the plague. The inconsistent bike lanes on this multi-lane 40 mph road with highway ramp beginnings and ends are a deadly accident waiting to happen (if it hasn't happened already). MD-704 should not be designated as a bike friendly road just because it has an inconsistent painted bike lane. Cyclists should be encouraged to go around this area, not through it and this bike infrastructure money should be spent on other smaller streets with lower speed limits.
