Could a traffic island, stop sign, and a dedicated pedestrian crossing light p be installed here to keep speed to its limit at 25mph? Vehicles are speeding northbound and southbound on Shattuck Ave. way above 25mph. It's not safe for pedestrians to cross the streets and it's not permitted by law for vehicles to be traveling at speeds that exceed 25mph. Also, Sankofa Academy l is here so an attempt to reduce the vehicles speed would greatly increase the childrs' s safy.y.
