Please trim back & remove the honeysuckle in the roadway & tree branches hanging over the road in the southbound lane of west driveway of SNCC.

Lovely swing that gets a lot of use. Thank you! However, it seems like cleanup after install was forgotten. There is concrete scrap lying around the swing area & posts that is being moved onto the adjacent concrete path & appears thrown around the area. Could the scrap be removed? It looks like there should be fill around the swing posts. The dirt pile enjoyed by little boys has turned into a solid mound & may be a problem for mowers. In front of & under the swing, the soil gets muddy after rains because there is no grass or concrete under it. I would think the mowers wouldn’t want to mow under the swing, so I’m not sure why concrete wasn’t put in before swing was installed. When the trail benches were put in, the job was nicely done & finished. People of all ages use them a lot & thank you for them, too! Could the swing job be finished & tidied up?

Please post in parks where easily visible to park & trail users, that there is a leash law for the control of dogs within park boundaries including on trails. Recently I have encountered unleashed large dogs in proximity to their owners. It does not appear that dog owners that use the SNCC trails & park in general realize that a leash law has been imposed in the county parks. It should be posted in multiple locations or at park entrances for effective public safety & welfare.

Potholes in east bound 17th street at Washburn Ave in right side of driving lane through intersection. Also is a big pothole in center of intersection.

After the temps rise in the morning, please blade off the snow drifts on the paved trail at SNCC, especially on the north side where it’s the worst, but all around the walk. It will be greatly appreciated!

Please fill numerous & enormous potholes on MacVicar for almost a half block before stop sign at Huntoon in northbound lane closest to curb side of lane. This is a perpetual problem. Why can’t this be fixed right instead of patching that seems to do no good ever??

Please fill in pothole in westbound lane on 17th st. It is hit when turning right from southbound Topeka Avenue. When I forget it’s there I hit this dang hole with my motorcycle when turning from Topeka Avenue & it gives my back an unnecessary jolt & foul language emanates from me along with the pain. Fill it in please, please, please!!!

Please fill large pot hole on westbound 17th St. when turning west onto 17th from southbound Topeka Avenue. Please fill other smaller potholes in this lane/general area. It is sketchy trying to dodge the holes when turning onto 17th st here, especially on a motorcycle.

Sidewalk on east side of NE Freeman in 200-300 block desperately needs replaced. Heaves, cracks, crumbling, general deterioration.

Our paved trail at SNCC needs benches every so often so some users could rest along their walk, if needed or to just to have a place to relax & enjoy the park. Would be great to have more paved trails connected to current trail & even connecting to the wooded trails over along Indian Creek. Paved trails in the woods would be awesome too even if it was only paved part of the way. Let’s get a bridge across the creek on the north end of the wooded trail so we can cross there. Lighting along the paved trail would be helpful for late evening & early morning walks & would add a safety factor as well. It seems like facilities &/or features at SNCC are not comparable to other Shawnee County parks-like no benches along trails here. We don’t have much recreational space in the north part of the county so please make this space more user friendly.

Pothole in eastbound lane of nw 25th, closest to Dillon’s parking lot entrance to the west.

Trees along Washburn Avenue need trimmed from the middle up a little higher on their trunks because they are obscuring the view for crossing traffic. When on 11th Street westbound waiting to cross Washburn Avenue, it is extremely difficult (& dangerous) not to have a clear view especially of the left lane of oncoming southbound traffic on Washburn closest to the trees. You have to pull on to Washburn Ave to see oncoming traffic as it is now.

Please repair the two potholes that are growing in the center of the driving lanes at the east entrance to the Shawnee North Community Center right at the edge of NE 43rd St. ALSO, please fill in the large dip in the asphalt in the right hand lane of the east entrance drive in the rightmost part of the lane closest to the right edge of the road or drive just before the turnout for the pool drop-off. Thank you!

Graffiti needs removed where it is painted on east & west sides of the bridge on the concrete rails lining the road.

Please fill in pot holes in eastbound lane of 17 th St. just before intersection of 17th & Western St. so just west of Western (or before it) in eastbound lane.

yellow diamond caution sign in median (by westbound left turn lane) needs replaced as it appears someone overran it at 17th & Plass

Time on clock on bridge in southbound direction needs adjusted to correct time again.
