There used to be a NO TURN ON RED sign on NE corner of Glenwood and JFK. That sign is missing. This creates a dangerous condition due to numerous drivers treating the red light like a yield sign.
  • 450–478 Marin Blvd Jersey City NJ 07302, United States - Downtown
Drivers constantly run this red light going northbound toward Holland tunnel. Very dangerous condition for pedestrians
  • 7 Kensington Ave Jersey City NJ 07304, United States - McGinley Square
    Sink hole in cross walk
    Hollow underneath, looks dangerous
  • 591 Communipaw Ave Jersey City 07304, United States - Bergen-Lafayette
Walk sign on SW corner of intersection of MLK and Communipaw (going northbound) is only activated with beg button.
Can it be changed to always have walk signal in cycle?
Otherwise, peds don’t know and walk against ped signal anyway (while northbound vehicular traffic has green)

This white van has an expired inspection sticker from 2017. I reported it thru WOTS app and the response was that “this issue is not illegal under city, state, or federal laws.” Is that really true?
    Thank you.

  • 64 Glenwood Ave Jersey City 07306, United States - McGinley Square
Is it possible to make this intersection “no turn on red”. There is high ped volume going N/S on JFK. I’ve personally had close calls w cars just rolling thru the red light to turn right onto JFK.

Are crossing guards supposed to help everyone cross or just children going to school? This is a dangerous intersection (academy and Bergen) and the crossing guard today (north east corner) doesn’t help people cross, just hangs out in the shade.
  • 801 Bergen Ave Jersey City 07306, United States - McGinley Square

Intersection of Bergen ave and Highland ave.

Drivers frequently make illegal right turns on red. Having ped daylighting would help reduce this; or at least the speed which they take the turns. There are so many peds on Bergen ave here; its a serious safety concern.

  • 177–179 Garfield Ave Jersey City 07305, United States - Greenville
Two northbound traffic signals on Garfield are not operational
  • 501 Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
Does parking enforcement do regular patrols? I get the sense that cars that are illegally parked only get tickets if somebody reports them thru WOTS app or during street cleaning. There are so many cars parked illegal which makes it more dangerous for all people (driving / walking / bicycling). If there aren't regular patrols --> drivers think they can get away with parking illegally and the issue persists.
  • 853 Communipaw Ave Jersey City 07304, United States - West Side
Car from auto dealership parked on sidewalk. Major issue for peds/ wheelchair riders
  • 844 Bergen Avenue Jersey City, New Jersey - Journal Square
Vehicles traveling northbound on Bergen Avenue often make the right turn onto Vroom st too fast. I watched a man nearly get hit recently--the driver stopped at just the last possible moment and the man had to jump out of the way! Delineators or a curb extension / bumpout would help slow down drivers making that turn. There are a lot of pedestrians walking along this stretch of Bergen, particularly school-aged children.
Additionally, this whole intersection is an issue as there is a lot of speeding along this stretch. Delineators or bollards on the double yellow lines on Bergen would help drivers stay in their lane, while currently they cross over lanes while coming around the curve.
    Thanks for the help!
