    City staff came here couple of years ago and confirmed that this ornamental plum was dying, but believed it was still emitting oxygen. It is now deader than a doornail. The leaves are dried up and shriveled. It is on the Mathews side, next to my driveway. I would like a replacement and will pay if necessary. Another tree across the street is also dead. Thank you for your assistance.

    You previously "acknowledged" the issue with the street tree at 1200 Dwight Way, but that's it. I previously requested heavy pruning. Meanwhile, I am cleaning up the prodigious mess from this tree. The last time I cleaned up, the leaves filled half of my debris bin. Now swaths of tiny flowers are all over the sidewalk. Also, a utility pole sits right next to the tree and numerous wires run through the tree. I have real health issues, and this issue is causing me to do heavy work I really should not be doing.
