Recently the Huntsville City Gas Dept. installed gas to a new home located at 15062 Ashmont blvd in Morningside Sub-division. The install required a large tractor type machine. After one phase of the installation process, as the truck carrying tractor left the sub-division and went down to a cul-de-sac located on the North side of 15068 Ashmont Blvd. Apparently, the turn around was a little to tight. To get through the turn, the driver had to back up a few feet and run up into the yard. Would appreciate it if you could have someone repair the rut and maybe put in a little Bermuda grass.
This is not a big problem, but looks bad. Appreciate you taking care of it.

These are not actual potholes at this time. There is deep dips in the road. They get deeper as time goes on. Cars must go very slow to get over them.
There is concern the road might actually cave in. City has come in and put more asphalt in them on previous occasions. They deteriorate worse each time. Would like a little more permanent solution for the dips.

A vehicle has hit the railing on Green Cove Bridge as it goes over Aldridge Creek. Damage is on North side of Green Cove. It has broken off several support posts on the bridge. It will work loose over time and become dangerous.

This is the second time within last few months that a city group comes in and removes covers for maintenance reason and fails to reseat it properly. Home owner at 15018 Ashmont blvd would like it secured. Do not understand why they would leave it like this each time. Please secure. Last time we sent in a request and it was corrected quickly. This situation is the city drainage from Green Mountain. The exact location is 200 feet south of Ashmont Blvd/Bailey Cove intersection.
It is the small lake where the drainage comes under Bailey Cove from Green Mountain.
The problem is the grate over the mouth of the culvert has come loose on one side. Please secure the grate as it was designed.
Location is: Drive 200 feet down Bailey Cove pass Bailey Cove/Ashmont Blvd and there is a small pond on West side. You will see the grate as picture is shown. Please secure.

Serious leak for the last three weeks in the street in front of 15034 Ashmont Blvd. Water appears to be coming from under curb in front of house. The house meter is not running so it appears the leak is closer to street area. Not an emergency but losing a lot of city water.
Appears to be getting a little worse each day.

At the entrance of Ashmont Blvd on the South side of Ashmont Blvd the
gas Dept recently done work and later sodded the filled in ditch. NIce job on the sodding. Since they sodded the fill-in it has settled down considerably. Formed a 6" drop off that is dangerous for people should they step off the sidewalk on South side of Ashmont Blvd. Probably needs repairing ASAP so someone does not get hurt and sue the city.

Location is corner of Ashmont blvd and Bailey Cove on the South west side of Ashmont Blvd
The Gas Dept installed a gas line about one month ago. They have yet to come back and put down bermuda grass as shown on picture. They usually take care of this, but making sure it has not slipped thru the system.
Also and more important they left a hole at the Southwest corner
next to the big yellow gas pole and street Sign. It is a real danger of someone stepping into. I will send a picture with another entry. Could not send two pictures. Contact me, Bill Hearn

Leak is coming from under concrete driveway toward the front and runs into gutter. This has happened in past years to other houses on Ashmont Blvd. Has to do with orginal sub-division layout. Call me at 256 683 0589 for detail explanation. Getting a little bigger each day.

About 3 to 4 weeks ago the water dept did extensive work in the yards of 15022 Ashmont blvd and side yard of 1800 Edgemere. This was for a water leak.
The water is still leaking on the sidewalk next to 1800 Edgemere. It is in same area as before.
The person in 15022 ashmont blvd is extremely upset with is yard repair. Repair effort left rocks all in area repaired. Lawn cannot be mowed since rocks will fly into house windows.
