  • Trash: Collection Inilagay sa Artsibo
11 Clifton Pl Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - McGinley Square
Thursday night recycling pickup was only partial on entire block. Cardboard was left by collection company.
#11 Clifton leaves items for easier pickup at corner in front of #15, as garbage trucks usually reverse up the block from Fairmount because of tight corner at south east end of clifton place. Can town clear these items?
  • 360-374 Grand St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Hospital visitors and hospital vehicles at times, pulled over double parked in right lane of Grand St East, daily at corner of Bright and at entrance closer to Jersey Ave. Poses high risk to drivers, bikes and pedestrians. Can extra signage be installed - “NO STOPPING”? Police presence to prevent this? The hospital has a main entrance for pick up and drop off via Jersey Ave.

  • Tall grass or weeds Inilagay sa Artsibo
38 Clifton Pl Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - McGinley Square
Owner is absent and does not have the vacant lot regularly maintained. Overgrown weeds fill the lot and overflow onto sidewalk. This is a sad eyesore in our neighborhood and encourages other bad behaviors; littering and lack of dog curbing. Trash and dog feces accumulates and sidewalk becomes impassible. We have a preschool on this street and small children pass here daily. This neighbor should have more regard for the community; plant a few trees or flower planters, and keep it clean and tidy - if they intend to sit on this buildable lot for the long run. Please help.
  • Tall grass or weeds Inilagay sa Artsibo
102 Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - McGinley Square
Overgrown weeds and tree branches blocking the sidewalk. Squatters leaving garbage and debris daily - I picked up a large garbage bag of trash from property perimeter to unblock sidewalk today. Request that owner upkeep the property and secure the security fencing so people do not loiter and bring more trash.
  • 63 Clifton Pl Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - McGinley Square

  • 102 Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - McGinley Square
Two abandoned car tires on side street, Clifton Place next to 102 Aummit Ave property
  • 133 Fairmount Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - McGinley Square
PSE&G spent two weeks installing new utility poles on corners of Fairmount Ave and Clifton Pl, and southside into Clifton Place for what I assume is preparation for a 9 story building at southwest corner of the intersection. Not only did they leave cut cables and remnants of their job materials strewn all over the streets, but most aggravating is the placement of the utility pole in the middle of the sidewalk at the southeast corner. Residents are left with barely anyway walkway. Parents with strollers walk this route daily to drop off small children at a daycare at south end of Clifton Place and Summit Ave. We will be forced to divert into the street. This is unacceptable. Which govt agency oversees planning for utility pole positions and install? Please correct this, Jersey City.
  • Trash / debris Inilagay sa Artsibo
221 Cornelison Ave Jersey City, New Jersey - McGinley Square
Trash and debris scattered under the Montgomery St overpass east side on Cornelison Ave, just a block from the County Bldg.
  • 171 Academy St Jersey City, New Jersey - Journal Square
Trash and litter is a huge eyesore on this city parking lot and along property/sidewalk line. With winds and rains this garbage will stuff our city drains and cause bigger problem.
  • Litter/debris @ Academy Hotel Inilagay sa Artsibo
168 Academy St Jersey City, New Jersey - Journal Square
Academy Hotel property line is covered in garbage and litter. Inside and outside their fence line along the public sidewalk.
This trash ends up making a bigger mess when snow falls and melts and when it ends up suffocating our public street drains.
  • 43 Gray Street Jersey City, New Jersey - Journal Square
Hudson county sheriff parking lot is covered in garbage and litter. And a couch and mattress sit on the public sidewalk against their lot fence. Their parking lots below on Mill Rd are kept swept but this one at Gray St and Vroom is a big eyesore.
  • 102 Summit Avenue Jersey City, New Jersey - McGinley Square
Personal belongings strewn along sidewalk and street at 102 Summit Ave, on the Clifton Pl side of the house, for the last two days. House is abandoned and there’s also some sort of bedding under the house’s side porch. This may be an absentee vacant building owner - exterior maintenance in general is irregular here.
  • trash cans mandatory? Inilagay sa Artsibo
33 Clifton Place Jersey City, New Jersey - McGinley Square
Trash cans are not provided to tenants by this landlord. Between the trash bags not being tied properly and raccoons getting to them, and folks simply flat out littering - we have garbage strewn on the street. Unsanitary and nasty.
    Please help.
  • Cigarettes and trash Inilagay sa Artsibo
34 Clifton Place Jersey City, New Jersey - McGinley Square
Particular tenant unit in this building is cause for majority of litter on front walk and street. Hundreds of cigarettes weekly in front of building - cars are emptied of trash straight into the street. Swept cigs are not picked up by street sweeper and must be swept individually and thrown into trash bag. Super is aware, but will not place cigarette receptical in front because “tenants shouldn’t be loitering in first place”. What is the solution?
