  • Veterans Ct Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
The flag flying at Veterans' Park is no longer illuminated.
    Please replace the spot light.
  • Island Dr & Mecartney Rd Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
The intersection of Island and Mecartney is in need of traffic signals. The four way stop it is now is ineffective, given the volume of traffic gong through it. It has become a dangerous intersection.
  • Mound St & Otis Dr Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
When driving west bound on Otis, the flashing lights for pedestrian crossing are obscured by trees, both the north and south side.
  • Packet Landing Rd & Robert Davey Jr Dr Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
Please fix cycling of these traffic lights. The left hand turn arrows from RDJr to PL engage without there being any cars there to turn. And they do not engage simultaneously: they do so individually. This intersection is still a mess after the changes to make it better. Please fix this.
  • Grand St & Otis Dr Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
The new street striping from Westline to Willow along Otis Drive is without reflective dots. Driving at night, the stripes are very difficult to see. And add to that rain at night, it is very hazardous. Reflective dots delineating the center turn lane, and edges on the right should have been done when the new configurations were implemented.
I was almost hit tonight, and I know it was because the driver could not make out the lane divisions. If I had gotten hit, the city would have had a hand in that.
  • Island Dr & Robert Davey Jr Dr Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
Campaign sign posted on city property. Needs to be removed.
  • Doolittle Dr Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
Election signs on the chain link fence above the guardrail at the intersection of Doolittle Dr and Island Dr, side of Mt. Trashmore.
Also, election sign on the median Island Dr across from Veterans Park.
    Please remove.
  • Doolittle Dr Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
Multiple election signs affixed to the railing at the edge of Mount Trashmore, and the intersection of Island and Doolittle Drives. Election signs on public land are in violation of electoral laws. Please remove.
  • Doolittle Dr Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
Re: #8043350 Mt. Trashmore is public, not private property. And while campaign signs are illegal on public property, political (sic) signs are not. They fall under the umbrella of the First Amendment.
  • Atlantic Ave & Constitution Way Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Turning onto Constitution from Atlantic. There are pylons now erected at the corner to protect the new bicycle/pedestrian strip. However, these pylons extend out so far that when turning from Atlantic onto Constitution in your car, you have to swing wide to avoid the last of them. This means, depending on your vehicle, than you cannot turn right and end up in the right hand lane, which is what you are required to do by law. Please remove the third(?) pylon to allow for cars to be able to turn right without difficulty.
  • Doolittle Dr Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
Harbor Bay Parkway between Maitland and Doolittle northbound direction needs to be re-striped. Lane designation is pretty non-existent.
  • Bay Farm Island Brg Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Situation with the chainlink barrier that was damaged months ago has worsened: new section is falling down. While I understand that this is part of CA 61, and have been told it is a CalTrans problem, no one from the City has answered postings/calls with regard to whether CalTrans has been notified, and, if so, when these repairs will be made. The City has a responsibility to safeguard its residents, and is failing.
  • Bay Farm Island Brg Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Chainlink fence on southbound Otis Drive over the bridge was damaged months ago. The steel poles that separate the chain link sections (missing) are leaning into the lane of traffic.
  • Constitution And Lincoln Alameda, California - Alameda
Low hanging branches of tree on north side of intersection are obscuring part of the traffic light (you face it when stopped on 8th/Constitution at Lincoln headed toward the tube).
  • Broadway At Otis Alameda, California - Alameda
In order to increase flow of traffic, there needs to be a left hand turn signal at south bound Broadway onto east bound Otis. The back up is getting out of hand. There are left hand turn only signals on Otis onto Broadway, but not Broadway onto Otis.
