The traffic on Burlington Mills Road gets extremely backed up by 7:30am heading toward Capital Boulevard at the intersection of Ligon Mill Road. The traffic going the other 3 ways is SIGNIFICANTLY less. I've never seen anything like it where the disparity is so large. This is an easy fix. Please extend the light at this intersection so that the traffic flowing toward Capital Boulevard has much more time so the disparity is reduced. The main issue is the traffic trying to go left onto Ligon Mill Road, so the traffic light extension needs to include the left turn signal. There was an accident this morning with a car trying to turn out of a neighborhood across from the Richland Creek church onto Burlington Mills. There will only be more accidents if this situation is not addressed.
