Marker would not let me on the exact spot; there is a lot of trash visible near the park benches just North of Austin Creek. Did not feel safe taking a picture.

Illegal dumping again at this location. Ironic that they dumped it near the pile of rocks that will be used to hopefully help prevent illegal dumping in this area. You can't get those rocks in place fast enough. Keep up the great work!

Well known squatters in the River Park area have apparently began inhabiting the CalTrans space, knowing that COV does not have jurisdiction. As seen from picture these men collect trash bins and shopping carts to their camp and leave it a mess. Request that COV contact CalTrans and ask them to remove the trees that make this an inviting camp site, and possibly surround the 'island' with large stones to prevent illegal contractor dumping. While we all like trees, removing these will leave us with a beautiful view of the bridge and vista. Thank you again for getting the previous illegal dumping cleaned up.

Along Wilson this trash has been there for three weeks. I realize this probably is CalTrans...but my request to them has been met with crickets. Figure COV might have more muscle. This sight totally negates much of the 'Choose Vallejo' campaign. People coming into Vallejo don't really think of it as a CalTrans problem, they think of it as a Vallejo problem. And even if they know it's CalTrans, the impression is that Vallejo doesn't have any pull with CalTrans.

Construction tear down material illegally dumped. Can this area be blocked off to make it harder? Or perhaps some cameras (even dummy ones) be installed to deter the use of the Wilson Dump.
