This beauty was uncovered on our adopt a trail work day. Amazing what you find when the privet is removed . We were not able to remove it by hand. It appears to be a guard rail. Thanks

There is an open hole that drops down into a drain. It is off the Booker Creek trail, Daily entrance, to the right of the drain access. Potential danger if someone is walking there .

A tree company has dumped 3 large piles of chips at the end of Old Oxford, on town land. I believe that they may have been contracted by Duke Energy (there is a Duke Energy flag near the piles) The Adopt A Trail volunteers have spent 700 hours clearing the surrounding area over the past year. Please have Duke take care of the mess. If a citizen call to Duke would help please let me know who to contact.
