Parking enforcement and ticketing of parents getting their kids to and from school is PREDATORY! There is not enough free parking spaces to pick kids up from school. As a tax payer, I strongly ask that the parking attendants do not troll the area on Main St in front Edmunds from 2:40 to 3 pm looking for violations. We are just parents getting our kids from school. Paying for a meter twice a day every day for the whole school year is a lot of money.

Youth see the CBD sign with a hemp/cannabis leaf. Research shows that messaging on signs impact youth's perception of harm related to substance youth. A sign advertising beer or liquor would not be tolerated or allowed. These low cost temporary signs regardless of what they are advertising be it tire changes or CBD are tacky and detract from our beautiful city and send a unhealthy message to youth. Let's be discrete in the move to a retail cannabis market and think of our youth.

Another accident occurred at the Bilodeau Ct, East Ave Hospital walking path this morning. Two car fender bender occurred as a result of the first car stopping to allow pedestrians to cross. The second car smacked into the car that stopped. This is the second accident this month. I strongly request that additional traffic calming and pedestrian signal treatments be implemented along East Ave for the safety of everyone. This is a main route from across Burlington with alot of pedestrians ranging from elementary school children to UVM students to hospital employees and seniors.

Please work with the medical center to trim back or remove the vegetation on the south side adjacent to the intersection of the walking path and East Ave. The overgrowth of plants makes it VERY hard for drivers travelling North on East Ave to see pedestrians. Please consider removing the vegetation to maintain the line of sight for drivers. I will also communication with the medical center about this issue. This is a very important issue that needs to be addressed promptly. Many children use the route to get to school. Thanks for all you do!

Please consider installing a rapid flashing beacon at the crosswalk intersection at Bilodeau Ct off of East Avenue up to the hospital. This route is heavily utilized by public school children, hospital employees, and neighbors. The traffic on East Ave is fast and voluminous. A rapid flashing beacon is needed to alert motorists of pedestrians and will also be a permanent replacement to the pedestrian caution sign that is currently on East Ave. As a resident of Bilodeau, I was surprised to see a new rapid flashing beacon at Fletcher Place off of Colchester Ave. I think the area along East Ave also needs this type of treatment for safety concerns. Thanks for considering!!!
