    Tree in Brooke Street Park was broken in yesterday's heavy rain. It is located very close to the artistic seats multi-colored sculpture, along Academy Street. The tree limb is cracked, it's covering the sidewalk. Hopefully, the young tree can still be saved.

    All gas lamps in Brooke Street Park and the surrounding lamps on Commerce and Market Street need to be checked and serviced. We counted 5 that were not lit, and were smelling strongly of leaking gas. Please attend to promptly. Thanks!

    Fire hydrant at 201 Red Oak Lane in Spring Run subdivision; it appears that it is leaking. It has been this way for at least 5 weeks. There is always water draining from the ground around it, regardless if it rains or not. There is a lot of water draining onto the street and down into the drainage system.

    Please, please, please have police begin to regularly monitor Academy Street, between Haynes Bridge and Westside. Cars go way above speed limit on a regular basis, and we never see it patrolled. There are no sidewalks on one whole side, and no pedestrian crossings to get to the sidewalk on the other side of the road. Someone is going to die! The road has hills on it, so it'd be easy to not see the zooming cars. We have emailed, called, etc.
