This was reported over the weekend and the case was closed with nothing done to clean it up. No the residents are not doing anything about it as they were renters who moved out today after putting down absorbent on the driveway and doing nothing about all of the oil they left up and down the entire street. Additionally they left more oil in new areas yesterday and today when they were moving. The street needs to be cleaned and it's town property so who do we contact to do it?

This house has numerous vehicles parked up and down the street leaking large amounts of oil. A report was made on 01/10/23 and service request #2023-01367 was assigned to it. A public works employee said that they came out and marked the vehicles and would monitor the situation to make sure it was cleaned up. It is now worse than ever. They park a bunch of their vehicles right by the green belt where the rainwater and hose water runs to. Additionally you can see from the pictures that they hose the oil off of their driveway and into the street. In the town of Gilbert, stormwater runoff does NOT go to a water treatment plant before entering our recreational or drinking waters. It is transported by drains, streets, gutters, curbs, and open channels directly into retention/infiltration basins, parks, washes, canals, and community lakes. This issue has been reported to the HOA however nothing is being done and it continues to get worse. We would appreciate the towns help in keeping our community and drinking water clean and safe.

Both of the green street signs have peeled off so bad that you cannot read any of the words on either one of them. This is a problem when given directions and looking for the street.

Multiple vehicles are actively leaking large amounts of oil and have been for over a year. There are oil stains up and down Latham Way as this house has 10+ vehicles they park on the street in multiple locations. There are not only a lot of kids that ride their bikes and scooters around this area but also when it rains all of this oil runs into the green belts where they play as well.

Too many cars parked on the street is causing the street to look like trash - literally.
