With the recent completion of the Bangerter Hwy improvements I feel there is a strong case to add an Exit Only lane on NB Bangerter Hwy from 7800 so to 7000 so...this would be similar to the in the opposite direction (7000 so to 7800 so). The reason for my request is that vehicles merging from 7800 so to NB Bangerter are accelerating up to hwy speed. However at the same time there are vehicles on NB Bangerter that are or will need to slow down to get into queue to exit 7000 so. The existing lane has been a mess since it was finished and may only become worse with increased traffic conditions. This merging of different speed of vehicles causes vehicles traveling north to rapidly move to the left and into the center or far-left lanes of traffic.
