There are a ton of potholes in both the north bound and southbound US 75 lanes of the highway from the Westgate bridge all the way to the soldier Creek bridge. It is a major safety hazard as these potholes are almost impossible to dodge and avoid without swerving over into the other lanes, creating a dangerous Accident situation

I first reported this safety issue back on November 13, 2023. Service request number 159026. You said that the issue was resolved, but never was fixed. This is an extreme danger and hazard to motorist traveling southbound on Topeka Boulevard Right when they go under the turnpike overpass over Topeka Boulevard. There has been a slow water leak coming from the ground on the west side of S. Topeka Blvd. just over the curb
and has been like this for over two years now. The water leaks 365 days a year but now the water is freezing out into the two and three lanes of the southbound Topeka Boulevard traffic causing a major safety hazard. Every year this area freezes terribly and expands out into the roadway. When I reported this back in November of last year, I was trying to give you guys a heads up to get it fixed before these conditions arise, and you guys ignored my service request and falsely claimed that it was resolved.

Several potholes in the northbound lanes of Topeka Boulevard between 42nd St. and the Kansas Avenue, I 470 intersection. It is impossible to avoid all of these potholes, as they are in both lanes of travel heading north.

There is a pothole in the southbound lane of Topeka Boulevard just south of the intersection of 27th and Topeka Boulevard in the left-hand outside driving lane.

On southbound Topeka Boulevard in the right hand lane directly below the highway 24 overpass is a pothole that is difficult to avoid without swerving into the other lane

Right when you turn east onto 62nd St. from northbound Highway 75, there are a few potholes in the eastbound lane immediately after exiting Highway 75.

Right after you merge onto I 470 from the on-ramp from Kansas Avenue all the way to the Burlingame Road exit, there are a ton of potholes in the westbound lanes of I 470

On southbound Topeka Boulevard underneath the turnpike bridge, the very west lane which is the lane that traffic would get into to turn west onto 42nd St. from Topeka Blvd., for the past couple of years, there is water running down the curb from underneath the bridge area and drains into the storm drain. The reason I am bringing this up is because in the freezing temperatures that water that is running along the curb starts to freeze and then all water flows out into the roadway further and freezes creating a big ice pact area of roadway that is dangerous for traffic to drive over. The water that leaks actually runs along the curb year-round even when we have not had any rain for several weeks at a time. Not sure where this rain water is coming from.

At the intersection of S. Topeka Blvd., and sixth Street, it is giving the eastbound and westbound sixth street traffic a green light for a very long period of time when there is no traffic going in those directions at all. It is backing up the traffic that is trying to go northbound and southbound on Topeka Boulevard. When the light finally turns green for the northbound and southbound Topeka, Blvd. traffic, the light only last for a couple of seconds, and then goes back Brad immediately. Noticing this around 5:30 AM every day.

At the intersection of N. Topeka Blvd. and Morse Street, it is giving the eastbound and westbound Morse Street traffic a greenlight to go eastbound and westbound when there is no traffic, needing to go that direction at all. It is backing up the traffic for the northbound and southbound Topeka Boulevard traffic when they have the red light. Noticing this around 5:30 AM every day.

At the intersection of S. Topeka Blvd., and 29th St. it is giving the eastbound and westbound 29th St. traffic a long green light when there is nobody going in that direction at all. It is backing up the traffic on Topeka Boulevard trying to go northbound and southbound as they have a long red light. the light that is green for the eastbound and westbound 29th St. traffic is way too long when there’s no traffic going that direction. Noticing this around 5:30 AM every day.

At the intersection of S. Topeka Boulevard and Huntoon, and 12th St., it is giving a left green turn arrow for the southbound Topeka Blvd. traffic to turn left, east, onto 12th St., when there is no traffic going in that direction at all. It is backing up the traffic that is trying to go northbound on S. Topeka Blvd. Noticing this at all times of the day Specially around 5:30 AM and 4 PM

At the intersection of Southeast 32nd and Michigan Avenue, right in the middle of the intersection is a giant pothole that you cannot avoid

At the intersection of S. Topeka Blvd., and sixth Street, it is giving the eastbound and westbound 6th street traffic a green light when there is nobody going in that direction at all. That light last for a couple of minutes. It’s giving a red light to the northbound and southbound in Topeka Blvd. traffic when there is traffic trying to go in that direction. Once the northbound and southbound in Topeka Boulevard, traffic get a green light, the light only last for maybe two seconds and goes back red immediately. Been noticing this for the last couple of weeks. Saying this around 5:30 AM every day.

At the intersection of S. Topeka Blvd., and sixth Street, it is giving a greenlight for the eastbound and westbound sixth Street traffic when there is no traffic going in that direction at all. That light will last several minutes. It is giving a red light for the northbound and southbound in Topeka Boulevard traffic when there is traffic needing to go in those directions. When it finally does give a greenlight for the northbound and southbound Topeka Boulevard traffic, the light only stays green for a couple of seconds, and then goes back. Read again immediately. Noticing this around 5:20 AM every morning

At the intersection of S. Topeka Blvd., and 1st Street, the very first intersection on the south end of the Topeka Boulevard bridge, it is giving a greenlight for the eastbound and westbound 1st Street traffic for a very long period of time when there is no traffic going that direction at all. The traffic that is trying to go northbound and southbound on the Topeka Boulevard has to wait a long time when there is traffic going in those directions. Noticing this around 7:30 PM every night.

At the intersection of S. Topeka Blvd., and third Street, is giving the eastbound and westbound at third Street traffic a very long, green light when there is no traffic going in that direction at all. Is backing up the traffic on Topeka Boulevard that is trying to go northbound and southbound. That is a very long red light for the northbound and southbound traffic. Noticing this around 5:30 AM every day.

At the intersection of S. Topeka Boulevard and fourth Street, it is giving the one-way traffic westbound fourth Street traffic a green light for a long period of time and nobody is there. It will give a red light to the northbound and southbound in Topeka Boulevard traffic when there is traffic trying to go in both of those directions. Noticing this around 5:30 AM every day.
