The trees along the sidewalk need to be trimmed. Because they go out so far into the sidewalk it makes it very scary to walk along there with all the cars flying by. It’s especially dangerous if you are trying to walk your dog.

East bound autos on 5th Ave N often pull into the turning lane for I-275N too soon and cross into the left turning lane for eastbound 5th Ave traffic wanting to make a left onto 20th St. The situation is exacerbated because many times they are going above the speed limit so that they can catch the light before it turns red. I would estimate that 90% of the time I am turning left there are cars pulling into my lane too soon. This is a head-on collision waiting to happen. Because I know how dangerous it is I plan ahead and make sure that I don’t get hit. But not everybody will know about this danger. Can't there be some of those plastic breakaway dividers like they use in construction areas that could be put there so the cars don’t pull over to soon?
