    On Great Star Drive, behind my home, there are many overgrown and dead trees lining the sidewalk. Howard County/ Columbia Association last week began to trim the branches on these trees but stopped work.
    This is the ugliest site along Great Star Drive with huge dead branches, dead trees, etc on County land which must be removed/ trimmed ASAP.
    There are tree trimming companies working for the County around this area on an ongoing basis and it’s like they don’t see this overgrown mess on County property. Thank you for your cooperation in this manner.

    This is what the iced over cul-de-sac looks like every morning when the temperature is below 32 degrees. That is solid ice covering approx. 1/2 of the cul-de-sac.
    Please act upon my prior request that some form of permanent drain be installed to eliminate this dangerous issue.
    I am available to meet with the county onsite to discuss this issue.
    If the issue is not resolved, you will be contacted to salt this cul-a-sac each day throughout the winter months and contacted to remove the excess water due to this drainage problem which fills this cul-de-sac throughout the year.
    This is a dangerous situation facing everyone that enters this cul-de-sac and must be resolved.

    This is an ongoing problem which the Maddens have worked diligently to rectify to no avail.
    Some type of drain must be installed by the County to permanently fix this water drainage issue.
    Until this drain is installed, the Silent Moon Run cul-de-sac will continue to freeze over and create a daily danger zone for residents, visitors, delivery men and trash and recycle employees.
    I am personally asked on an almost daily basis what is the problem with all the ice on our cul-de-sac and have been told by the trash collection company that our cul-de-sac is the only area completely frozen each time they collect the trash
    and they may not be able to continue collecting the trash on top of this frozen surface as it’s a danger to their employees. Appreciate your assistance,
