There is a large and deep pothole in Upper River Rd., about 100 feet or less from the junction of Upper River and Twin Pines/Woodland Dr. A vehicle passed me as I bicycled out Upper River towards Jones County and did so while an oncoming vehicle approached so I had to make a sharp veer to the right and into the pothole - passing in that road section is UNLAWFUL, there are 2 yellow lines in the middle of the road. The shock of hitting that hole (about 4/5 inches deep) bent the front rim but I luckily avoided worse harm to myself. Several other bad potholes within the travel lanes as one proceeds toward Hastlett Dr. and Jones county. Macon-Bibb has been informed and future accidents/damage in that area will subject the local government to liability.

I passed the Graham Rd/Old Clinton Rd intersection on 2/3/21. A large pile of debris blocks the route along Old Clinton toward the old bridge across Walnut Creek. Its all old paneling which someone had ripped out of a structure being remodeled. Empty cartons which contained the new paneling were in the pile and they had the store name (Home Depot) and barcodes on those empty cartons. So if Macon-Bibb wants to find and prosecute the illegal dumper those old cartons and barcodes could be used to track down the violator. Illegal dumping at that site has been an ongoing problem and I have reported previous instances which Macon-Bibb eventually corrected. Hope they will remove the debris.

Someone has dumped AN ENTIRE PINE TREE INCL. LARGE LIMBS AND ALL BRANCHES, near the intersection of Old Clinton Rd. and Graham Rd. Access for pedestrians and cyclists to the section of Old Clinton Rd. which crosses Walnut Creek IS BLOCKED thus forcing pedestrians & cyclists out onto Gray Hwy. Many apt. complexes are along Old Clinton, between Upper River Rd. and Walnut creek and there are others on Graham Rd. too therfore lots of people who walk/cycle across that now blocked old bridge across Walnut Creek are forced onto very dangerous Gray Hwy. which, in that very area, has already had pedestrian fatalities. And when Macon-Bibb Public Works removes that tree debris it should also cut the kudzu along Old Clinton where it crosses Walnut Creek. A very safe pedestrian & cyclist route has been blocked!
