Large pothole with uneven surface near crosswalk in front of day care/church and PGCPS bus stop, and near Hyattsville Middle School. Pothole is getting worse. Occurred about a week or two ago after work was done on the street. Don't know who did the work.

Please plow the Trolley Trail if it hasn't already been done by now. Thanks.

This appeared overnight on the Trolley Trail. 1) This could come across as antisemitic (even though it criticizes Israel not Jewish people). 2) Is this a city managed, Palette managed or HOA managed section of trail? 3) People have reported seeing these elsewhere on the Trolley Trail.

A resident of the Palette Apartments walks his very large presa canario **off leash** around the Palette building and around the adjacent neighborhood. Many residents of Ward 1 have contacted me to express their fear and frustration with the situation and to ask me to address this situation before someone gets hurt. Please send a manager to meet with the Palette property manager (her name is Donita) so you can get the unit number of the dog owner and then take the appropriate Code Compliance action and coordinate with PG County Animal Control. Thank you.

I received a call from Ms. Sherry at Friendship Arms just now. At least three dumpsters near Friendship Arms are overflowing again and residents have serious ongoing concerns about rats. I'm not clear about whether these dumpsters belong to Friendship Arms or to another multi-family building next door. Please reach out to the resident at 301-779-2974.

Mr. Patrick McAuliffe reports that his street sign was knocked down at 42nd and East West Highway. He has called several times to request a new sign, but has not gotten a response or seen the sign replaced.

Please send someone to plow the mud and debris from the end of Hamilton near The Spot. The drainage area is blocked so the cul-de-sac is becoming backed up with dirt, trash, etc. Looks like it may be helpful to dig a culvert to direct water to the existing drain and swale. Thanks!

During the snow, many pet owners left dog poop on top of the snow. When it melted, the poop was left on the sidewalk. Can you please bring a power washer to the entire Hyattsville section of the Trolley Trail to wash away the poop and take care of this health and safety issue? Thanks.

During our dog walk this morning, we saw that someone dumped tires in the bushes along the Trolley Trail. Can someone please come pick them up?

While I am happy to see the roadwork (resurfacing) being done, advance notice via signage should have been given about this morning's work on Hamilton between Queens Chapel and Ager. There is a huge backup during rush hour. The workers who are directing traffic are not communicating well with each other or with the drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

Safety hazard: The section of Hamilton between Queens Chapel and the West Hyattsville Metro Station is dangerous. Pedestrians, cyclists and drivers are all at risk. After the maintenance project was completed, the street was not repaved and was not returned to a state of good repair. The project left several big potholes and many uneven surfaces. As soon as possible, please let us know the plan to bring this road into a state of good repair and include the timetable for the work. This is a critical, heavily traveled route especially because it provides a connection to a Metrorail station.

Utility pole along Trolley Trail broke due to heavy winds last night. It is leaning toward the parking lot for Busboys and Poets etc. This is a safety risk; please put in a ticket ASAP. Thanks.

Please use City of Hyattsville equipment to plow the Trolley Trail from the Pepco Plant to Franklin's. This is an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) issue. People with disabilities as week as pedestrians and cyclists use the trail to travel to the grocery store, work, school, the post office, City Hall, and other key destinations. The snow should have been plowed no more than 24 hours after the snow fell.
