A TV cable company, in violation of all known codes and ordinances, has FOR OVER A FULL YEAR failed to bury an unsightly exposed coaxial cable running through county easement in front of the homeowner's yard. In addition A TWO FOOT DEEP pit which it dug to repair the cable remains unfilled with topsoil piled on an adjacent tarp. The homeowner's calls to the cable company to repair the damage have been totally ignored.

Just bought property & paid garbage fee through December. No cart was found on property so I will need one please.
  • 281 Jones Ave Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Two black dogs evidently belonging to residents of 281 Jones Avenue are running wild in surrounding areas. They tore to shreds a floormat from the front porch of my property across the street (276) and while not hostile are definitely a pestering nuisance.
  • Jones Ave & Peachtree St Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Garbage bags, litter and used appliances were dumped in the street about a month ago.
  • 273 Jones Ave Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Abandoned car was left on the street a few days ago with shattered windows. It is physically interfering with my ability to back in and out of my driveway across the street.
  • 273 Jones Ave Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Abandoned house at 273 Jones Avenue is literally caving in. Recent storm caused a massive collapse of front porch and section of roof. House has been totally neglected and abandoned for decades, though the house directly across from it has been beautifully renovated as has another one next to it. City needs to CRACK THE WHIP ASAP on these absentee owners whose negligence is ravaging our neighborhoods.

A large barrel is covering a sinkhole in a neighborhood where many kids play outside. This is a serious issue. The hole needs to get filled before a pedestrian gets hurt. There are a couple of spots in this area where flooding and sedimentation have caused pits and cavities. The curb in front of 1585 Westminster has gotten completely filled in with dirt and sediment, and this causes rain to flood the street instead of flowing into the curb channel.
  • 1590 Westminister Dr Macon, GA, 31204, USA - Macon
Heavy leaf litter and sediment along the curb are affecting drainage into two culverts during heavy rains. Because of frequent street flooding as a result a sinkhole has developed nearby which MWA has put a barrel over without fixing it.

Heavy accumulations of leaf litter and dirt are covering half the right of way along Plumtree Street between Fountain and Fairview Avenues.
  • 200-298 Jones Ave Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
  • 276 Jones Ave Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Large tree fell during a storm and hit the current garbage cart at 276 Jones Avenue, damaging it beyond repair. Need a replacement.
  • Jones Ave & Peachtree St Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
City-owned right of way along the stub of Peachtree Street at the corner of Jones Avenue is totally overgrown with grass and weeds. The asphalt originally allowing access to the garage behind 284 Jones Avenue has thus become unusable. Street needs thorough scraping and cleaning after years of neglect.
  • 651-699 Plumtree St Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Fallen limbs, debris, logs and trash are blocking Plumtree Street between Jones Ave and Balkcom St so that it's impassable to traffic.
  • 350-398 Jones Ave Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Heavy leaf litter and sediment deposits clog both sides of Jones Avenue between Main and Myrtle Streets. Curbstones are almost completely covered and public sidewalks are virtually unusable in several places between Main and Plumtree Streets because of thick weeds, scrub and vines.
  • 701-899 Plumtree St Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Piles of garbage and cut limbs blocking both sides of Plumtree near Balkcom Avenue. Multiple acts of criminal dumping in the last two years have made the street a virtual landfill.
  • 651-699 Plumtree St Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Additional garbage dumped on another pile reported last week, blocking almost entire street. Repeated violations on this spot are DISGRACEFUL. It is within view of a national park a few steps away. I will report this situation to the federal government if the city doesn't try a new approach. Without signs or cameras and FINES for the violators, this street will continue to be an open dump. Why not rename it GARBAGE STREET?
  • 651-699 Plumtree St Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Furniture and mattresses illegally dumped on Plumtree Street near Balkcom Avenue. Also, spare tires along road further north on Plumtree. This is the FIFTH such illegal act along this same stretch of road that I have reported in the past year. At the very least SIGNS need to be posted here to discourage further such behavior.
  • Balkcom Ave & Plumtree St Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Furniture and boxes dumped at roadside near junction of Balkcom and Plumtree Street. This is at least the sixth instance of such dumping along this street in the last year. The problem will continue unabated until the city (A) installs surveillance cameras at this location, (B) posts signs that would-be offenders will be filmed and (C) actually PROSECUTES those who are polluting the city and destroying neighborhoods.
  • 650-698 Plumtree St Macon, GA, 31217, USA - Macon
Sofa and mattress illegally dumped on street blocking westbound traffic right of way on Plumtree Street near Fountain Avenue. Also spare tires dumped on easement on opposite side a few yards downhill.
