During the summer it was noted water was eroding soil from under the street during heavy rain. Rain water was billowing through a crack in the roadway. Recently a hole has developed in the asphalt exposing the hole, which the depth of the erosion is roughly 18" deep from the top of the asphalt to the bottom of the whole (soil). The area of erosion seems to be 3' in length (Across street) and roughly 1' wide. The asphalt is starting to fail (sink) and a hole allows you to see the amount of erosion. Should the asphalt completely fail, serious damage to a vehicle could occur along with injury. Thank you (I wish this site allowed more than 1 photo to be uploaded, since it would be beneficial to provide a full accurate picture of the issue).
