During storm Isaias on 8/4/2020 a very large limb fell from this city tree and damaged our home. 911 was contacted immediately after limb fell. This limb remained on the house with live, downed power lines for over 2 hours. At approximately 9AM today, 8/5/2020 the limb was removed from the house. We have roof, soffit, window and other damages to our home. A claim will be filed. I have growing concern about the negligence of this situation. This tree issue was identified over 2 yrs ago and nothing has been done and now we have damage due to the negligence. This tree must be removed immediately as it's split down the middle and rotted out. The tree is so large and it can split at any time and damage multiple properties. This is a true life safety issue and I hope to get a rapid response from the City of New Haven asap.

There's a lot of dead wood and broken limbs on this tree. Numerous branches fall from this tree consistently. The overall health should be assessed as this is a massive tree. Also, there are branches on this tree that overhang the roof of this house-64 Ashland Place. Please address. Thank you.

This large, heavy limb fell from the maple tree along the street in front of our home during the last ice storm. Can this be scheduled for removal asap as it's creating a safety issue for people walking and for the snow plow.
