    Once again the managers of the Exxon station on Whalley corner Fitch fail to clean their walks forcing pedestrians near the street corners to walk in the street or when in front of the station to walk amidst cars. This happens every snowfall. Can the city of New Haven please fine these folks?

    Tuesday night shortly before 11PM, the irritating smell like burning garbage swept through our house. We called the non-emergency police number and the fire department was sent. None of the firefighters smelled anything, determined there wasn't a burning building and left. Did anyone else in the neighborhood smell anything like this? Source?

    I'd like to know why Public Works plowed snow onto the cars parked on the even side of the street instead of aiming it at the odd side, which was free of cars. The resulting snow and ice dam is pretty nasty to clean away.
