#1 The company that purchased the old Long Oil recently re did the road from South Swan St up to the house next door from me ( I live at 200 Myrtle ave just below Dove St)
I was told by the Mayors office that the company was responsible for the repair as they had done lots of digging & it was apart of the contract So the new part of the road that they fixed had had 2 HUGE potholes (closer to South Swan St.). I noticed that earlier this week the city came & filled in those holes which is just a temporary fix as a few rain falls and it is all going to wash away. This part of Myrtle Ave is a VERY BUSY part and care are trying to avoid these two potholes. Also when the company has removed the snow in their parking pot they are dumping it into the back yard of 198 Myrtle Ave.

#2 This parking permit system does not help!!! I have to pay to park at home yet I come home everyday from 1-2 for lunch as I work at the capital, there are only so many houses on the block and not everyone has a car & I can not find a parking spot! I really do not need the permit but I have children that drive and that come and go during the day and I have to take the time to register their cars for the visitor permit & they can not find a spot either.
I have called Albany Parking Authority every day on my lunch hour for many months and spoke with a few different supervisors and was eventually I was told to start taking down plate numbers & report them well that is not my job. I leave my house at 1:45 & there is always a parking authority vechicle sitting on S Swan or Park Ave yet still NO tickets given out!

#3 I reside at 200 Myrtle & the house on the left & right are abandoned it is NOT my responsability to shovel their sidewalks I know the house on the left of me the owner went into a nursing home became award of the state and last I knew the city owned his home, the house on right side of mine the owners up & moved to Alanta, Georgia and are not coming back
