This is a delivery driver’s fix to delivering instead of parking on pleasant st where there is more room, not blocking traffic, and NOT on a sidewalk. Thanks.

The new pedestrian crossing signals crossing pleasant to the bus station from Dunkin’ Donuts no longer works! Please fix.

Over the past couple of months and after witnessing this many times, I began taking pics of delivery trucks (of all kinds) parking on sidewalks. Does anyone wonder why the sidewalks of Malden are cracked and crushed? Is there a law that prohibits this? And if so, what are the consequences?? If reported with proof/pics, and they are fined, then that would be a start at funding the sidewalks to replace them, correct? I would love to discuss this with someone that can tell me. Florence Street from Main to Center Street is a horror to travel on. This entire strip needs to be repaved. In actuality, beyond where it crosses Center Street is a complete disaster. Can we get this considered and acted upon?? Come cruise Florence Street for yourself and you'll understand this complaint/report. Thanks!

This is a follow up to Issue ID: 6387019. Pedestrian crossing is nearly non-existent due to no upkeep on markings. Drivers come through this intersection at a rate of speed that makes it very hard for pedestrians to feel safe within the cross walk. Please repaint these and it would be helpful to all concerned if there was a device such as a rubberized speed bump; not need for a lot of installation costs or maintenance. Cars and motorcycles tend to go at a high rate of speed especially at night. This would help Malden Police who feel they are not able to 'patrol' this area for speeders nor taking away from other issues within Malden. Thanks and waiting for your response and action on this!

There are vehicles belonging to the construction staff that continuously park on the pedestrian crossing making it extremely dangerous for those who are crossing to the other side. There have been numerous calls made to Malden police and verbal complaints to officers on duty near the area. I can only believe, no one, including Malden officials, want a tragedy happen here especially since citizens have came forth voicing concerns. The construction staff have even been approached. Nothing works including reaching out to the traffic department and speaking to the Lt. who has instructed me to get in touch if I see anymore vehicles there. Unfortunately this tends to happen a lot more on the weekends while that office is closed. The construction crew get paid to work and get the job done, however, it doesn’t constitute a ‘hall pass’ to park in the street making it a hazard to pedestrians. Please take care of this. There are several of the same light that have recently burned out on Dartmouth between Eliot intervention and Hugh O’Neill’s. It is the type of (black decorated?) light post that is closest to the right of Eliot and in front of (back side) Halstead Apartments garage entry. These lights align the back of the Halstead apartment complex.

This is located directly in front of 85 Linden Avenue. Extremely off level by >2”. Very prominent and serious tripping hazard. Please repair ASAP. Thank you.

Sidewalk has a concrete section offset. This is a tripping hazard and should be ground level. Remember our seniors. Thank you!

This light/lamp post is located on the sidewalk to the left of the Halstead Apartment garage entrance that faces Dartmouth Street. Please fix ASAP. Second report.
