    construction closed a lane. markings don't match. It's crazy. There's no sign in advance of the closure/shift. It's bad. Cars are just cutting people off to stay in 'their' lane but its obvious the lanes shift but no signs are present. Also, for 2 days there has been cars illegally parked next to the legislature, blocking a lane of traffic. Please fix this. A permit was given for construction it seems but no change was made in the street. It's a mess.

    painted arrows no longer match the No Turn on Red. I love the new No Turn on Red anywhere downtown but the arrows on this corner are for a right turn only lane which was great when you could turn on red. But now, dricing straight through the intersection is hampered by waiting on the car in front of you who may be turning left and has to wait on oncoming trafficc. Sometimes You can even make it through the light with only a few cars. The arrows were designed for the road before the No Turn on Red went into effect. Can you check it out and hopefully repaint the arrows.. Thanks.

    cable or phone wires are hanging into the road all the way to the pavement. I just drove into it and slammed my brakes and backed up. It's not electric wire but its a hazard.

    Avent Ferry was recently paved and restriped with a Right turn only lane approaching Gorman in both directions. It's a great move, thank you. But, the signs are lacking. The lane in front of the CVS does not have enough notification. There are right turn arrows pained in the road but people are not regarding them or maybe don't see them until too late and they are using that lane to go straight. Minimally, put up a sign that says new traffic pattern for a while, but please consider a sign hanging on the traffic light crosspole with a right turn only lane.

    please consider a no turn on red for cars making a right onto Avent Ferry. It has always been an issue ever since they did the bridge and road work and added a right turn only lane. During Covid it was less of an issue with reduced traffic in the area but it has instantly become a problem again with ncsu starting back this week. Avent Ferry is 40 mph and Trailwood drivers are not giving northbound cars the distance they need. It will be much safer with a no turn on red. It is currently dangerous. Thank you.

    Hi, Can we get the gravel in the road cleaned up. It is from the Melbourne bridge construction and it has been there many weeks. Maybe ask them not to pile it back up in the island because the dot construction trucks drive over the island and drag the gravel back out. Thanks.

    i think this light at Centennial and Lake Wheeler road's timing is off. It took 3 turns of the lights to get through it and I was just 7th in line. It usually allows a big line of cars to get through. If the timing isn't off then maybe its time for a left turn signal from Centennial onto Lake Wheeler heading north.

    huge multiple potholes on avent in front of Food Lion - been there for months. so bad that people don't use the lane to turn into the foodlion and instead they stop in the travel lane and then cut across the center lane and the opposite traffic lane to make a left, making for pretty dangerous condition. I think it began due the the ice last fall and the subsequent plowing.

    please consider a no turn on red from trailwood onto Avent ferry. it is a daily occurrence for trailwood drivers to just pull out regardless of whether traffic is coming. The light seems to be treated like a stop sign. Thanks.

    on the phase 2 section of hillsborough street construction a flag pole and a light pole are less than a flag's distance away from eachother resulting in the flag being caught on the light pole and at other times flapping against it. whichever was there first the city allowed the other to be installed. Please fix this or contact the proper dept. It's an American flag - the city needs to do right by this issue.
