Large sandwich-board sign at southwest corner of Sunrise and Kolb, put there by a company with a Los Angeles area code. I removed three other signs that were smaller on the opposite corner, including one for Nico's Mexican restaurant and one for Junk Kings, which has splattered its signs all over the metropolis. Illegal signs are like fleas. If one is not removed, it attracts others, until the entire county and city are infected. Thank you, Craig Cantoni

Damaged guardrail and about five broken wooden support piers on southbound Craycroft just north of Placita De Chubasco. The photo doesn't do it justice. The damage is more severe than it appears. My wife and I picked up the car parts that we could carry. Please repair guardrail AND pick up remaining car parts and broken piers. Thank you, Craig Cantoni

Tucson Water recently replaced a fireplug at Craycroft and Placita Varas. About 500 ft. south on Craycroft, it left behind on the shoulder the heavy, thick rubber base to a warning sign about construction work ahead. Thank you, Craig Cantoni

Reflector warning sign knocked down at Craycroft and Placita Varas. Months ago, a car knocked over a fireplug and the reflector sign at the location. My wife and I picked up the car parts and stood up the reflector sign where the fireplug had stood. Tucson Water came out this week to replace the fireplug and threw the reflector sign in the brush. We pulled it out of the brush and set it next to the new fireplug. This is a dangerous situation, because the fireplug sits too close to the road on a curve. Without a reflector sign, the odds are greater that someone will hit it again, especially given the number of speeders along the stretch. Thanks, Craig Cantoni

Illegal, tacky-looking sign on utility pole on Craycroft at Cimmaron, a block north of the intersection of Craycroft and Sunrise. It's about 15 feet up the pole, so someone will need a ladder to reach it or use an extension pole to knock it down. Thank you.

Two illegal signs at intersection of Sunrise and Kolb, one in the median on the west side of the intersection, and one on the south side of the intersection. Thank you.

The steep hill on Craycroft just north of Sunrise has no shoulders. The route is popular with cyclists, and because there is not a paved shoulder, they ride in the road on the steep hill. As I've seen, some drivers swerve over the yellow center line to avoid the cyclists, but the hill is so steep, they can't see if a car is coming in the opposite direction. It's a perfect situation for a head-on collision.

On our daily walks, my wife and I pick up litter and trash, starting at the intersection of Kolb and Sunrise and continuing up Kolb and then Craycroft, all the way to the intersection of Craycroft and Pinchot. The amounts are staggering.

A gentleman in his eighties used to clean Craycroft from the intersection of Craycroft and Sunrise to the intersection of Craycroft and Pinchot. Now infirm, he can no longer do this. As a result, litter and trash are accumulating along the stretch and looking like a slum.

My wife and I don’t want to clean the stretch, because its narrow shoulders, steep hill, and speeding cars and bikes make it too dangerous. As such, please send a crew to clean the stretch of Craycroft, from Sunrise and Craycroft to Pinchot and Craycroft. Please also put the stretch on the same monthly cleanup schedule as east and west Sunrise and Craycroft south of Sunrise. Thank you, Craig Cantoni

Sign lying down in median along with sandbags. This is the median on Kolb just south of the intersection of Kolb and Sunrise. It might be a sign associated with the recent road construction and no longer needed, but it and the sandbags (and weeds) make the median look unsightly. Thank you, Craig Cantoni
  • N Kolb Rd & N Via Divina Tucson, AZ, 85750, USA - Catalina Foothills
Reflector sign and post knocked down in median of Craycroft at Via Divina, near where Craycroft become Kolb.
  • 6560-6698 N Paseo Tamayo Tucson, AZ, 85750, USA - Catalina Foothills
Warning sign left behind after road work completed. On Tomayo about 200 feet from intersection with Craycroft. Thank you, Craig Cantoni

Sign left behind from recent road work. At Kolb and Divinia, right where Kolb becomes Craycroft. Thank you, Craig Cantoni
  • 6551-6551 N Kolb Rd Tucson, AZ, 85750, USA - Catalina Foothills

  • 5501-5575 E Sunrise Dr Tucson, AZ, 85750, USA - Catalina Foothills
On the northeast corner of Sunrise and Craycroft is a large, tacky orange sign advertising an un-neighborly plumbing company. In the weeds about 20 feet from the southeast corner is a sign or two that fell over months ago. Thank you, Craig Cantoni
  • N Craycroft Rd & E Placita Varas Tucson, AZ, 85750, USA - Catalina Foothills
Fire hydrant knocked over at Craycroft and Placita Varas. Needs to be reinstalled and car parts need to be picked up. Thank you.
  • 5500-5516 E Sunrise Dr Tucson, AZ, 85750, USA - Catalina Foothills
Two illegal signs at Sunrise and Craycroft. A smaller one on the northwest corner advertises some kind of business. A much larger one on the southeast corner is either a leftover political sign or some sort of business sign. Either way, it is tacky and un-neighborly. Thank you.
  • 6936-6948 E Sunrise Dr Tucson, AZ, 85750, USA - Catalina Foothills
Four of the signs in the photo are at the intersection of Sunrise and Kolb, with one on each corner. Thank you for removing them. If not removed, such signs are like litter: Other un-neighborly people see them and think it's okay to do the same.
  • N Craycroft Rd & N Ventana Heights Pl Tucson, AZ, 85750, USA - Catalina Foothills
The photo looks northwest on Craycroft, near where Craycroft becomes Kolb. On the right can be seen the entrance to a large development being built. Cars and trucks going in the opposite direction (southeast) cross the gravel median to make a left turn into the development. This is dangerous and probably doesn't meet design standards, as a curve makes it difficult for approaching vehicles to see the turning cars. Also, it's a downhill stretch where the average speed is way above the posted limit of 35 mph. The county installed a "Do Not Cross Median" sign, but it's ignored. Please study whether a left-turn lane should be installed or boulders or a guard rail should be installed to stop cars from turning at the spot. Thank you.

Two illegal signs at the intersection of Sunrise and Craycroft. One on the northeast corner advertises "Concrete Work." The other on the southeast corner advertises "Bro O's Painting and Coating." The attached photo shows what the Bros O's sign looks like. The photo is of another sign from the company that I removed from my neighborhood. Bro O's has plastered scores of these signs throughout the metropolis and is one of the worst offenders. Thank you.

Five illegal signs at Sunrise and Kolb, one on each corner and one in median, advertising an auction on Oct. 16. Please remove if the culprits haven't done so after I submitted this. Alternatively, to save the county time and money, call the culprits at the number on the sign and tell them to remove them. Please check the intersection of Sunrise and Craycroft to see if they also put signs there. Thank you.
