The curb was recently replaced and raised, just prior to the roadway resurfacing. The 4 water meter lids are now well below the sidewalk grade creating a trip and fall hazard. Is it possible to raise the water meter housing and lids? If so, then I could raise the ground level and re-sod the area to eliminate the swale and bring the grass to the same level as the sidewalk, curb and water meter lids, thereby eliminating the tripping hazard.
