    The road surface approaching the curve on the westbound lane is deteriorated to what I consider an unsafe degree for cyclists using this route. I nearly lost control of my bicycle AND a dental filling passing thru this segment the other day! It is a trecherous surface for those of us on 2 wheels (who ride at speeds that make using the adjacent bike path also unsafe)

    Hello! I'm sure the City crews are trained in the permanent, detrimental environmental effects road salt in the watershed. I'm guessing a mechanical issue resulted in this issue? The amount of salt applied on Blake Rd at intersection of Jeffrey Lane the other day was eye-popping! I rode my bike thru there and the pavement looked like frosted cake!

    I don't remember if the work done late last Fall in Brookview Heights was Edina City or Excel Energy or other entity. The aftermath of all the digging in front of most homes (not mine, however!) are erosion control barriers and netting everywhere in the neighborhood (on which my dog just LOVES to pee!). Can you tell me the plan for removal and mitigation, please, or put me in contact with the right person or agency to get a response/timeline? After 6+ months and the greening of Spring now underway, I'd sure like to see these eyesores go away! Thank you!

    The short stretch of road to the west of the entrance to the Golf Course resembles a lunar landscape more than it does a road (especially westbound lane). I travel as a commuting bicyclist through here 8 months out of the year and have witnessed the rapid deterioration of this 60 yards of road over the past year or so. No longer safe for cars, much less cyclists.
