This is the 2nd request that has been posted for the same request and codes has not done anything about it. The owner is not being responsive and the leaves keep piling up on the side walk and street. I am asking that codes address this issue.

Broken down car and leaves have been piled up for over 3 weeks. The pile of leaves is now out of control and the landlord refuses to do anything about it. The car has been broken down for a number of weeks as well and has not been moved they are parked in spots that are public parking spots.

There is a pipe broken in under the street on the corner of Semmes and Dorsey. Water has been running for several days down the street.

This is for 1794 Thompson Avenue. A tiny house is being built on the property as an additional rental unit without the proper permitting. This issue has been raised with councilman Gothard.

We spoke with Mr. Tim Atkinson, the new property investor, after I sent out the initial email. He stated he was putting down gravel in the area that has been marked off on the property and would be parking a “personal vehicle” on the property. I asked him specifically if the vehicle was an RV and he stated “yes.” He does not reside at the property, so why would he park a personal vehicle there? I of course inquired, and he stated he would be renting it daily and thus it was not considered a permanent rental and he did not require any permitting.

essentially, he is setting up a permanent “trailer” on the property that he intends to rent Air B&B style.

I will send additional pictures in a separate email of the work in progress now. I will be submitting a public records request for proper permitting and inspecting on the work that has been completed on the property to date, and any work on the property moving forward.

I appreciate your efforts in helping us keep our neighborhood moving in the right direction.
