The bridge over the creek as you exit the cemetery and turn back towards Glenlake Park is a disaster of mud and debris.

This is the trash can in the middle of the park. Who knows the last time it was maintained. Friday, I witnessed four Decatur employees in one truck, changing one trash can on the perimeter of the park. No social distancing, no multitasking and hitting all the cans at once (threre are three total). Complete waste of taxpayer dollars, complete disregard for coronavirus. The city can spend $8,000 on a new sign for this park, but can't maintain the park itself. Why don't you find a new job for three of those guys from Friday? Perhaps eradicatng all the poison ivy in and around the park? Or repairing the wooden bridges with rotten holes in the boards? Or finishing the two unfinished access steps to the park? Or replacing the broken bench on the deck? Or fixing the water fountain? Shall I go on? Perhaps it will take an injury and lawsuit to get this park cleaned up and properly maintained.
