    The sloped sewer drains on either side of this bench are an extreme hazard. While exiting the DHS performing arts center last night, I witnessed a parent trip and fall directly as a result of the sharply sloped pavement immediately in front of the sewer drain. This area needs to be painted with bright reflective paint. The slope of the drain needs to be reassessed as it is possible to severely twist an ankle if you inadvertently step too close to the edge of the sidewalk. It is impossible to tell under limitied lighting conditions how steeply sloped this pavement is and it poses a significant hazard to all pedestrians. Please investigate this promptly and fix it.
