I have lived here 13 years and this road has only been patched every year. This road between Frazho and 696 is HORRIBLE people drive through the side streets to avoid Hayes they will drive backwards slightly on the service drive to get onto 696 westbound and all the way over to Bunert rd to go eastbound. The potholes when raining cannot be seen and are dangerous it you don’t know they are there. Residents will also drive down the middle of Hayes with the yellow lines being the where they drive down the center of the road as long as no oncoming cars are preset. They move over, let them past and back to the middle they go. It is by no means also not riddled with blacktop road patch jobs as the road of you actually drive in the lane. I have been told the county is responsible and Warren. I don’t know which but it is affecting many many Roseville residents including children. I am hoping the city of Roseville talk to and lean on whoever can get this road completely replaced. The blacktop patch job isn’t working and we have started looking for a new house outside of any of these affiliations because obviously no one cares about this road or the residents. Until I move I will start bringing my repair receipts from my dashboard loosening and needing repairs continually as I lease my cars. Dirt roads are better cared for and where we are headed because we have family that live on a dirt road and the entire 23 years I have been with my husband their road in St Clair County has been WELL better maintained than 1/2 a mile or road here. We are looking in Oakland and St Clair County because I am not convinced anyone cares. We have putting in bike paths that were more importanr along with the changing of lanes than helping get this road fixed. I have had several neighbors leave on our street because of that road and we used to have a great street where everyone knew everyone and we all took care of then people that were the only owners of the houses. Original owners. I am only the 3Ed owner and knew the homeowners as my sister once lived next door and sold her house at a considerable loss just to get away. The house on the other side of me had the original owner until just s couple of years ago when she passed away. The house is on it’s second owners and is soon to be put up for sale because it is a road they too travel everyday. We only have a couple original owners, and couple of long time owners such as us or even longer and many of the houses have a high turnover rate now. For 20 yers we held a block party. We had to end it last year as all the new owners are not involved in planning or doing things such as games for the kids. We used to raid 1200-1300 hundred dollars a year using fundraisers at the party to be used the next year to put into the party and rent some fun things for everyone to do. It is so extremely sad to see it go. I looked forward to my kids being part of the block party and the neighbors all take part in helping them grow but alas, because of the damage that happens to their cars people are quickly learning and leaving and I know the same is happening on a newer street built while My sister lived here. My next door neighbors and it would have been amazing to have them right there and so much a part of their lives and now they only see them at family get togethers and they can’t be at my house. I now have an injury to my cervical spine and driving on Hayes actually causes me great pain if I don’t use an alternative route going well out of my way often adding a great deal of time as I have to go use the light at bunert not only the trucks from businesses on the block but so many residents that it can take me 1/2 an hour because if the line and wait to be able to use eastbound 696. This should not be happening. It needs replaced not patched and Roseville can pay part of it as one side of the road is Roseville residents while the east side of the road is an apartment complex and even they complain and they only have to drive part of it. Our school buses need to use this road to pick up children and they should not have to drive this road. It is well out of control. It may be too late for me to stay as as soon as we find the right house ours will go up for sale. Please please please help get this road repacked and not patched for the at least 13 th year with filling with blacktop. Please! It may not be started in time for me or 2 other neighbors starting to her their house and housed ready to move. I will make house #3 and my new neighbor that has only lived here a couple of years is planning to list hers. It can’t be a good sign for buyers when they will have multiple houses to choose from just on my block alone. That is not even counting turn overs between Curtis and 10 mile. I am begging you to please look at this road and get it fixed.

I have lived here since 2006 I often need to use Hayes to reach my home. While I understand this Rd is technically a Warren Rd I have contacted warren several times and the county regarding this rd. It has never been repaved, only had potholes filled. The road is HORRIBLE! It is basically just filled potholes and infilled potholes an this point rather than an actual road. It is so bad that many many people are taking side streets to stay off of that rd as much as possible. This is a lot of traffic on the side streets and I am concerned for the kids on those roads. Is there anything you can do to help us get this rod fixed! I am sure the residents of the street would appreciate it as well. I am hoping that you can help get this road repaved. I am sure many residents will gladly take a detour
To have that road fixed as long as residents that live on that road can still get into their driveways as it Is done. Again I am pleading. Please help get this road fixed properly! You may reach me at lovemylabbies@gmail.com

    Thank you for your time!
