Street Sweeping Archived2500 Webb Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
2500 block of Webb Ave hasn't been swept for two weeks straight. Supposed to be every Thursday. I called public works and they said the 24th and the 31st were regular sweeping days. Therefore, there's no explanation for missing two weeks straight.
Here's hoping we won't go 0 for 3.

Street Sweeping Archived2500 Webb Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Discouraging that I need to post this again because commenting on previous post does nothing and calls/messages to Public Works go unanswered. It's gotten to the point where I need to go out and sweep the street myself. I just want the services I already pay for.
Alameda City says street sweeping resumed. Not on 2500-block of Webb Avenue, route 62, orders 2163 and 2164.
Today is Thursday. According to the City's own schedule, sweeping is to occur between 8am and 11am. There was no street sweeper in sight today (https://www.alamedaca.gov/files/assets/public/publicworks/street-sweeping-schedule.pdf).
There's more, though: that schedule also says that sweeping on 2500-block Webb is somehow both "Weekly" and "Bi-weekly". How is this possible? Which is it?
If it is weekly, why wasn't there sweeping today?
If it is bi-weekly, it's still not right because only half the street was swept last week. Even assuming it was completely swept last week (which it wasn't), every single sign on 2500-block Webb is wrong, because each says sweeping is every Thursday (not bi-weekly). Each sign also has a time different from the City's schedule. Each sign reads 10am-1pm; yet, the schedule reads 8am-11am. Again, which is it?
Can we please get some answers from Public Works, including fixing the signs if they are wrong? We pay taxes and would like the streets swept when it says they will be swept and would like signage actually to be accurate about when that is.

Weeds, Landscape and Irrigation Archived2521 Santa Clara Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Hopefully a picture's worth a thousand words. This is in the parking lot behind the Calvary Baptist Church. Leaving aside that a chain-link fence without cover and landscaping is illegal under the Alameda Municipal Code (yes, that includes for commercial properties; see sub-sections (h) and (i) of AMC Section 30-5.14), the weeds situation here is out of control and needs to be addressed (see AMC Section 23-4.4).
How about the city cause the owners actually to do something?

City Clerk - Other Archived1526 Everett St Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - AlamedaThis has been reported previously but nothing's been done. Look at this photo--there are nails sticking out of these pickets detached from the fence. Children pass by here. Beyond just dilapidated and an eyesore, it's dangerous. Will the city please actually do something for once to cause the owner to take responsibility?

Sidewalks Archived2516 Webb Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - AlamedaThis is an urgent request for repair of sidewalks on the even side of 2500 block, Webb Avenue, most notably the sections fronting the parking lot for the Calvary Baptist Church. Not only an extreme eye sore (that has been ignored for apparently a long time), it is an obvious hazard.

Sidewalks Archived2512 Webb Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - AlamedaThis is an urgent request for repair of sidewalks on the even side of 2500 block, Webb Avenue. Not only an extreme eye sore (that has been ignored for apparently a long time), it is an obvious hazard. Most notable are the sections fronting the parking lots and in front of 2522. Note that this is the same request as for 2524 Webb Avenue (that request was mistakenly recorded as IFO 2524).
