hello! I tried calling the city but I can't seem to get through.

last fall my property was used for storage for the water main project, the east side of my property facing St Elmo. there were pipes, equipment, and a pile of dirt. all grass was killed.

when they removed the dirt they removed a chunk of my dirt underneath which has caused my gradient to be so steep I cannot cut my grass without sliding. this was not an issue before.
the grass was also planted too late so nothing is really growing. the base of my property is a swamp.

in my discussion with the city, we decided to wait until spring to fix this. well it's spring and I would like to get this project started so I can have a normal yard.

this is going to require a large truck of dirt to be spread so my gradient is back to being smooth and grass seed spread.

I have pictures of your equipment and the damage done and I can provide current pictures on request. please advise if this is not the right forum or if you have a better number to call.

    thank you,
    Mindy C

This is in regards to the intersection of 23rd and St Elmo. Today a vehicle was traveling east on 23rd St and hit the street so hard the shielding fell off their car and was left.

This was not caused by a pothole necessarily but by the uneven payment left by the waterline project.

Ultimately this probably won't get fixed until the street is repaved, but putting a cone out until then so no more cars are damaged would be a good move.

I hate reporting this sort of thing but it's time. This yard hasn't been cut in over a month. This is a vacant rental property but the owners have been in the building since then. I've cut mine 6x since they last cut it.

This is regarding ticket 6463763 about the red Kia soul. The Kia parks up there SO we can see and it makes it easier to turn. I am so appreciate of this neighbor doing this.
What really blocks the view is the fence.
To be honest I have seen others and almost wrecked myself due to the poor visibility coming from the south.
A proper solution would be to make this a 4 way stop. I've been wanting to post about it for awhile.

Hi folks, my purpose in this post is to recommend we add curbing on St. Elmo. The water pulling on the east side of my property is excessive and results in me not being able to maintain the grass at the base of my driveway for months as it would turn to pure mud.
I've also noticed many of my neighbors along St. Elmo have the same issue but not quite as severe.

Curbing would help the water management issues on that side as well as keep my grass clippings from contributing to clogging the sewer grates.

Please advise if this is not the correct format or place to request this. Thank you for your consideration -Mindy C

On St. Elmo spanning from colonial down to 23rd there are about 5 potholes big enough to put a baby in. Really all of St. Elmo needs repaved but for now it would be nice to not have to see China!
