Sennott Park is a great resource, and the renovation is beautiful. HOWEVER, all of the 3 trash bins are in the western half of the park. In particular, the Norfolk/B'way corner has historically had a problem with litter and trash. I can't believe that DPW has allowed this corner in particular to be underserved this way. Let's get this fixed ASAP!

Sennott Park needs dog poop bags!!! How is it that after a 2 year renovation, there are no dispensers AT ALL in this heavily used park? Do we want the poop picked up, or NAH.

This tree that was reported multiple times for lack of watering has died. After it was planted, it did not recieve water for several weeks until after reported here. Even after that, it only recieved water a couple times. I am in this park daily with my dog, and checked on the tree regularly, and rarely found any evidence of watering.
The city needs to do a much better job managing new trees, and needs to stop denying the problem.

The new tree planted on Arbor Day is already dying! Looks like lack of water Why is Parks department not following up?
  • 25 Oxford Street Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Agassiz-Harvard
Why is the city closing issues so quickly, when the request is for the city to take action? Why so quick to foreclose comment?

This is how the absentee management of this 6-family deals with recycling! It even blocks the next door driveway!

NE corner of Sennott park, if trash can is full and not emptied by the city, trash goes on the ground! Great for kids to play in.
  • 237 Harvard Street Cambridge, MA, 02139, USA - The Port
ONCE AGAIN, All the Sennott Park trash barrels are overflowing! Trash including food on the ground, will the rats that come to eat it also bite the little kiddies? This small park has hundreds of people in it on nice days. DPW needs to ENHANCE their trash pick-up schedule in response.

Are you kidding? This is disgusting in a "progressive city"! I see this was flagged TWO days ago, and still the same garbage pile.

The park has not been maintained since winter. Signs say playground use prohibited- hasn't this been changed?

Needs mowing, weeding, trimming, replacement plants, table umbrella.

Please return the trash barrel at the SE corner of Sennott Park on Norfolk St. There was one, but now it's gone, and there is only a recycling container. People are leaving bags of dog poop and other trash next to the recycling container.
In addition, please add a trash barrel at the corner of Norfolk and Broadway.
Please add poop bag dispensers at the NE corner and NW corners of the park.
