Right of Way Erosion Acknowledged7103-7121 Six Forks Rd Raleigh, NC, 27615, USA - Raleigh Council District AA pedestrian safety hazard exists, created by extreme erosion inside the ROW, along the sidewalk on the west side of Six Forks Rd between Long St. and Newton Rd. This is where the creek flows under Six Forks Rd. Soil is completely eroded away from the sidewalk creating a very steep, open and dangerous ravine that is more than 15' deep. There are no barriers to warn and/or direct pedestrians away from the open ravine in the ROW. There are visable signs, left side of this photo, that erosion is continuing to undercut soil down at the lower level of the ravine which increases the likelihood that there will be a catastrophic failure under the sidewalk if the situation is not addressed. The land west of the ROW is own by the City of Raleigh.

Greenway Maintenance Archived6016 North Hills Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District AOn the east side of North Hills Dr. access to the Greenway there is a large crack/tear in the pavement where the Greenway descends down the hill away from North Hills Dr. I've included a picture to illustrate the size of the crack. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an option to upload more than one picture, so I can show you the picture illustrating the depth of the crack. The crack is several inches deep at the widest point, and water erosion is likely going to make the problem worse over time.
