Hi there, can we get a shade on the south side of the light across the street from our house? It has been like a spotlight since the new LED light was installed. I understand that it’s there for safety (thank you!) but the light extends on our entire front yard, entire front porch, and the first half of front bedroom and living room all night long. We rearranged the living room to move the TV further away to avoid the glare it was producing, but really the front porch is super unpleasant because of the light pollution. Anyone that faces the street while sitting on the front porch has a spotlight in their eyes so we have not used the front porch in months. We could plant trees to block the light, but I don’t want block our view of sky, and I don’t have money for mature trees, and it would take year for the trees to get tall enough. Thanks!

I used SeeClickFix to request a shade for LED alley light, and it looks like it was installed. (Thanks!) A crescent shaped shade was installed on the south side of the light (towards 21st Ave)...but my yard and house is on the NORTH side of the light (20th Ave). So the shade is not helping at all and light seems brighter like the shade is reflecting light north. Please adjust so that it shields light from going NORTH and WEST. My backyard and back bedroom continue to be flooded with bright LED light all night. It’s pretty miserable. Much thanks and please advise...i’m very happy to be available when someone comes out to help with location of my yard. Street pole B265889

For some reason the alley behind my house has turned into a dumping spot for neighbors to put their broken pavers. A handful of new ones showed up today...

Can the city pick them up or do I put them next to a trash bin for removal?
