    Recently built stone retaining wall along sidewalk has broken and getting worse over the last 2 Months. You can’t miss it along the sidewalk In front of seminary housing. Also the underground utility box has the doors taped to keep it shut and box next to it may have a couple more months before the ground totally erodes and is just hanging out in space. Please take a look.

    I’ve asked prior and will ask again. Why is there no crosswalk with proper lights and signage for this intersection on south Wingate, crossing Durham road? We almost caused an accident waiting to cross the street on bikes with my children. We have walkers walking to high school from this area and have to cross this street multiple times a day. So if someone can shed light on why this hasn’t been done yet that would be great. I understand there’s a crosswalk heading towards town but not towards seminary school. There’s no safe way to cross this intersection.

    Also need a crosswalk in that area from seminary side to south Wingate. School kids use that sidewalk and one needs to be put in place.

    Erosion repair was attempted but did not succeed. This is one of the nicest ballparks Around and serves the historic district. The bank has been eroding for sometime. Maybe maybe some chip mulch from the tree service could dump some piles in area and spread to help with the erosion around the tree. Let me know how I can help.

    1.)ADA not having continuous handrail on ramp. Please advise.

    3 speed bumps on woodland drive were noticeable at one point. These need to be re painted. Spoke to Tim about these a few times. Please advise. If you want to drop off a couple gallons of street marking paint I will paint them myself.

    This a follow up form ticket that I submitted on last school day of 2021. It was closed out with a commitment of being repaired before school started this year. Nothing has been done as of yet 8-3-21. This is a shame. That we have to dodge potholes and trip hazards on our walk to school. This is a really nice school and lots of history but the town isn’t taking care of its assets. Someone else just submitted a ticket 2 days ago to mention broken curb and overgrown trees/bushes in area. Please fix these sidewalks and show some love to the Wake Forest Historic District Elementary school and all the students, staff, parents. Show some sidewalk love. What are you waiting for? How can I help? You got a couple weeks to fix these.

    Just a idea. At the playground at holding park there’s always standing water/mud around the playground between Slide and swing set. No matter if it rains or not there always water there. Would be nice to have this fixed. Heck I would fix it if you need to and reimburse me for just material. We really would love to utilize that area more but it’s always a mess. Please let know. If you have any questions give me a call 919-659-5337. I would estimate material to be less than $800 to fix this issue. I’m fully insured as well and can be bonded if needed. Please please please let’s fix this
