    Hello, I just saw a coyote carrying an animal (maybe a cat), and he ran into this backyard… I guess it’s quite rare for coyotes to be out in the middle of the day. My neighbor also saw one in the exact same place this morning. I’m not sure what can be done, but I just wanted to report it. I’m very concerned about my small pets. Greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks so much. JW

    Very strong natural gas odor coming from in front of 91 Granville Ave., right where all of the Watermain work has been done, the street has been completely torn up. Leak coming up from under the brand new asphalt in the driveway. Smelled it while I was walking my dogs about 10 minutes ago, I just called national grid, but I do not know anyone on that street. National grid said they will be out within an hour, but it was so strong I would suggest someone get out there more quickly if possible. Thank you

    2 recycling cart questions:
    1. In the picture you can see that the workers left my new bin in the middle of the road. I have another picture, though I could only add one here, which shows three or four of my neighbors’ bins also in the street, though they’re not quite in the middle of the road like mine was.
    2. We had overflow of recycling this week so I used the 2 small blue bins which we’ve used for years, and they completely took those bins. We use those a lot, and we would really appreciate two new small bins being delivered to our house. Not quite sure why they would steal those bins.

    Nasty animal fight, I smell skunk and an animal is whimpering in the backyard of either 76 or 72 Fairview Ave. I left a message for animal control, but he won’t be back in the office until 8 AM, so everyone please keep your eyes out for any hurt or rabid looking animals in this area. I’m not bringing my dogs out until this thing is found. Thanks.

    My wife and I are sitting on the new patio of the 110 grill, and every single time the traffic light turns at Salem in Commercial, the people who need to turn left to go north on commercial street from Salem Street cannot see the left turn ARROW, so only one car is getting through that turn each time the signal changes. We’ve been watching this for an hour now. Constant honking… this seems like a very easy fix. Well the city please put a new street light where the eastbound traffic on Salem Street can see a left turn signal directly in front of them when they need to turn north on commercial Street? This will make a giant difference in traffic flow and quality of life for these new businesses in the new buildings. We need this, please. Thank you.

    Hello,
    The illegal trash dumpers around this neighborhood seem to have a new plan... I just stepped out to toss some extra recycling items into my bin which I put out last night, and when I opened it I found a bunch of trash bags had been dumped in my recycling bin. I know that the recycling people would not have taken my recycling had I not just happened to check out my bin this morning. Any thoughts on how we should handle this? Also, these bins are considerably smaller than the ones given by the city of Boston. Two small blue bags barely fit in my single black trash bin, and thats 1 week’s trash from just two residents in my house. A big blue bag, let’s say filled with some broken down Styrofoam, would not even fit in the bin. I know once everything gets figured out this program is going to make our city much cleaner, so thank you very much for that!

    Hello, Recycling truck missed my recycling and my next-door neighbors. The cars recently started parking on this side of the street, so perhaps they did not see them. Could you please have them swing by and pick up our recycling? We both put them out yesterday evening, and there is nothing questionable in the boxes; i’m always very careful about that and separate them accordingly. Thank you so much!

    Hi, no leaf pickup today? I have 30 bags that sat in the rain all day long. If pickup would have been announced as delayed, I could have kept them in my garage, but now they’re soaked, heavy, & I really hope they don’t break when they are picked up. Is pickup happening tomorrow? Thanks!
