Coming off 696, the light to get onto vandyke is ridiculously short. Traffic on van dyke is no where near as busy as it is coming off 696
The light needs to be longer for traffic coming from 696 so the 3 lanes that merge can move quicker through this. This back up extends to 696 as well, where accidents are more likely to happen since traffic has to stop in the right lane as they try to merge off the highway
