We are celebrating our 20th year and want you to celebrate with us.
What's a watershed? Do I live in one? Which one?

Thanks Carmen! The north sidewalk under the underpass has been cleared of leaves and litter. Great job!

The recycling container in front of 17 Court Street has not been emptied. Please empty at your first convenience. It is full. It was missed today.

There is a tree down across the side walk near the parking lot of the former Calvaliere Grocery Store.
  • 24 Court Street New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
There is wet cement on this block of Court Street. It is trash day. If the trash and/ or recycle trucks go down this block there will be tracks in this cement forever. PLEASE avoid this!
  • Se Corner Of State & Court Sts New Haven, Connecticut - Downtown
This area has been replanted with appropriate plants after the addition of a track to State Street Station, but the area needs maintenance. Very aggressive weeds including Ailanthus altissima, (no tree of any heaven I hope to see) and mugwort among others. Who is responsible for weeding this area? The previous plantings looked terrific. Proper weeding NOW will save a lot of time and energy down the road.

The parking lot looks very nice along State, new mulch looks GREAT! Did they run out? None along Court Street.
  • All New Haven, Connecticut - Downtown

We need to do more to educate New Haveners about recycling. I see Styrofoam, items in bags and unflatten cardboard in the "cans" all the time.

My question is, is this recyclable?

  • 173 Wooster Street New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
All along Wooster Street all the bags from the cleanup Saturday are STILL up and down Wooster Street. They are labeled New Haven Public Works. This is embarrassing! The Cherry Blossom Festival is this Sunday. The Wooster Square area deserves extra attention TODAY!
  • 10-26 Court Street New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
Many leaf bags on the block of Court Street between Academy and Olive. PLEASE pick them up before the Festival Sunday.
  • Whitney Avenue At Trumbull New Haven, Connecticut - Yale University Campus
Downtown- Wooster Square- The antique fence at Philips Triangle was hit by a vehicle a year ago. The fence is broken and a pillar is also broken. This has been called to Parks attention several times, but NOTHING has been done. PLEASE fix the fence NOW!
  • Corner Of Academy And Chapel New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
Very dangerous show pile blocking the view to the oncoming cars from Chapel Street when exiting Academy Street.
  • Academy From Green To Chapel New Haven, Connecticut - Downtown
Again the legally parked cars are receiving all the street snow, while the illegally parked cars have almost all the snow cleared from along them by the city plows. This is not fair! We need the illegally parked cars towed and the odd side of the street plowed.
  • Olive From Chapel Streets New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
Every single light is out in the "Zigler" parking lot. People pay to park here. It should be safe and lite.
  • Whitney Avenue Near Trumbull New Haven, Connecticut - Yale University Campus
The antique fence at Phelps Triangle is badly damaged. It has been in this condition for many, many months. This gem of a downtown park has been exquisitely maintained by the Garden Club of New Haven since the 1950's with very, very few inputs required from the City of New Haven.
This fence should be fixed immediately. What is needed? Many cars pass by this broken fence each day. The City is dissing the time, talent and resources of the Garden Club of New Haven by not fixing this fence. PLEASE fix is now.
  • Artizan At Court Stree New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
