  • Canal St New Haven, Connecticut, 06511 - Dixwell
Have been woken up before 7am on several weekends and had about enough this Sun AM, when noise started at 6:30am. Drove around the corner and found this guy on Canal St behind 25 Science Park. He told me he was mowing the grass, that it wasn't that early and that he'd be doing it for another week. I reminded him that there is a noise ordinance in New Haven. Please enforce! As this area gets more and more development, we are concerned that increased noise will become even more of an issue. Not sure if this is a company hired by Yale or the city, but I will reach out to them.

I'll post a photo later, but the tree on the sidewalk (Walgreen's side of the street) between North Frontage and George needs some serious trimming. It's obstructing almost the entire sidewalk.

This is the view from my front door/porch. Garbage hasn't been emptied in a few weeks and the old rug has been on the porch railing for over a month. Some of this is from workers and includes a broken vanity, mirror and sink. This morning squirrels were ripping open the garbage bag. Our taxes are going up and Mandy Management has bought property around us and aren't taking care of it! This is the same house where the lawn wasn't mowed for over a month and the same owners with the dilapidated cement block partial garage behind our house. Please do something. I will also be reaching out to our alder.
  • 82 Munson St New Haven, Connecticut, 06511 - New Haven
This partial, dilapidated garage is at 82 Munson and the left edge of this borders our back yard property. It was falling apart before Mandy Management bought the property, but they have not responded regarding request for removal. We have removed the fence that was falling apart and would like to replace w/ an attractive one, but not until we know this won't fall on it. Cement blocks are falling off on some sides of the wall and therefore, it is also a safety hazard. Please help get this addressed.

The potholes on Ashmun Street from Tower Parkway/Grove going toward Lake Place are deep and dangerous. I ride my bike there daily and have to ride out into the lane of traffic to avoid falling. Please repair. It is a safety risk
  • 218 Mansfield St New Haven, Connecticut, 06511 - Prospect Hill
The neighboring house was bought by Mandy Management last summer and they are not caring for the property. The lawn and bushes are very overgrown. Previously, we needed to post on here to get garbage and discarded belongings cleaned up in back yard, since calls and emails yielded no action. Please follow up with these absentee landlords who leave their building looking like a slum. It is an eyesore and affects our property value. We have a separate issue with them on the condition of the yards of the two houses they bought which border our back property, which we will also look to have addressed.

Potholes on York Square between Tower Parkway and Ashmun continue to be a big problem. Good way to have an accident on your bike or ruin a tire in your car.
  • 216 Mansfield St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Dixwell
For appx 3weeks, this pile of garbage has been in the backyard of 216 Mansfield St. We have reached out twice via email and twice by phone to Mandy Management regarding this eyesore, but have received no response. This is the second time since they bought the property that backyard garbage piles have been an issue. We live in, own and rent to a tenant next door. Not sure how to get a resolution to this issue.

All of the street lamps along the stretch of road near the cemetery on Ashmun Street between York Sq and Locke St are out and have been for some time. It is very dark when walking here because the only lights are across the street in the Yale parking lot. This is a safety hazard.

This represents a portion of the garbage still present in the front yard of this property three weeks after a windstorm knocked over their garbage cans on pick up day. A note was left for the tenants several days ago, but nothing has been done. It is an eyesore. We live and have a rental home in the immediate area and would like this picked up.
  • Mansfield St & Munson St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Prospect Hill
8/11 photo of overgrowth in yard and onto sidewalk. This remains after the 2ft high lawn was finally mowed that day. This landlord, who lives elsewhere, but works at Yale, has regularly ignored upkeep of the yard. Texted him that day (no response) and have now emailed. We live in our rental and are tired of his neglect and the way it reflects on our neighborhood.
