Traffic Signs Archived19203 Wallingford Ave N Shoreline, WA, 98133, USA - ShorelineThe intersection signage at N.192nd Street and Wallingford Ave. N. needs evaluation. I was circling the block for 45 min practicing with a new driver, and saw that it is not working and is potentially not safe.
1. Westbound drivers on 192nd assume the right of way, some not slowing, even though it is a traffic circle with no signage. Six out of 8 of the cars we encountered did not slow. Suggestion: a yield sign for the Wallingford drivers in both directions. The traffic circle is not there (assumed) to replace stop signs, but to guide Wallingford drivers since the road is offset. Seems that westbound 192nd drivers are using it as a cut-through to Aurora, and are not slowing.
2. Eastbound drivers, turning north on Wallingford, do not observe the traffic circle, but turn left in front of it. Suggestion: move the traffic circle sign from the south side of eastbound 192nd into the median so drivers are facing it.
This intersection may have been addressed already. It just seems ripe for an accident, and it's close the to the school. -
Drug needle at entrance of mini-park Archived19803 Fremont Ave N Shoreline, WA, 98133, USA - Shoreline
Single drug needle near rose bushes, just south of the main trail at the entrance on Fremont.
This same mini-park had needles last week - could use more patrols as well.

Traffic Signs Archived704 N 185th St Shoreline, WA, 98133, USA - ShorelinePedestrian walk light is almost completely obscured by vegetation. Southeast corner of 185th and Fremont, for the pedestrian traveling south across 185th.

Walk request button not working Archived18501 Aurora Ave N Shoreline, WA, 98133, USA - ShorelineThe beg button on the NW corner of 185th and Aurora, on the little island between Firlands and 185th, requesting to cross 185th in the southbound direction, is not working. There is no sound or light that indicates the button has been pressed, and then when the traffic light for Aurora turns green, there is no corresponding walk signal.

Street sweeping requested ArchivedN 195th St & Dayton Ave N Seattle, WA, 98133, USA - ShorelineAlong 195th, especially south side of street just east of Dayton Ave N. The pedestrian section of asphalt is very muddy due to cars pulling on and off the road (including Crista security vehicle, as shown.)
I would like to request street sweeping to clean up the walkway. Additionally if possible, filling in the muddy side part, traffic cones to discourage future car use there, and/or one of those "Your Speed" vehicle speed monitors. -
Sidewalks Archived19520 Dayton Ave N Seattle, WA, 98133, USA - ShorelineThis request was already submitted without a photo - I couldn't figure out how to edit the original and add the photo there.
Gravel was added to the walkway east of here, either by the city or by Crista, but this walkway section and the one west to Greenwood still needs it. The walkway is already deeply rutted and muddy. Parents dropping off will pull into the walkway, right in the path of pedestrians, and are further damaging this school walking route.
"No Stopping" signs are in place, but there isn't a way for police to monitor undetected so no one gets ticketed and the damage continues.
Please - make this walkway safe for pedestrians. I've walked this during the winter, and it gets very slick and dangerous. -
Sidewalks ArchivedN 195th St Seattle, WA, 98133, USA - ShorelinePlease address this ongoing problem. Crista staff and customers stop and park along the south side of 195th between Greenwood and Fremont. This is a no parking zone, and there is plenty of parking along Fremont. Einstein (and Crista) students need a safe walking route - parents pull into this walk zone to drop off students, and staff park here when the staff lot is full. This creates a smaller walk zone for students, especially as the grassy area becomes muddy, and forces students closer to traffic during busy, dark and rainy mornings. This route needs your support to make it safe. Please put barriers in until a permanent sidewalk and curb can be placed!
