This is an extremely dangerous intersection for pedestrians and needs a turning signal for cars to be implemented. Both Grand and Marin are highly trafficked roads, and many cars quickly turn at this intersection not yielding to pedestrians, even when pedestrians have the walk signal. There have been several instances where I’ve nearly been hit. This neighborhood is full of families with infants in strollers and young toddlers who regularly cross these streets walking to the nearby schools (Saint Peter’s Prep, Little Harbor Academy, Cornelia Bradford), which makes the matter even more urgent. Please address this issue for the safety of our community.
