The crosswalk from the church to the schoolhouse is very dangerous. Traffic very rarely stops for people crossing especially at night. Many times motorists do not see people crossing and other times when they do, they just don't stop or going too fast to stop. There are four meetings held in the schoolhouse at night during the week and one meeting at noon on Tuesdays. There is even a stopping problem during the day. We have used flashlights at night to flag motorists but doesn't work most of the time. Could a flashing light of some sort be installed there before someone gets hurt?? There is also traffic bolting out of the side street and a truck stopped for us crossing and almost got rear ended because the car in back of him was pulling out of that street behind him and speeding. A couple of weeks ago an elderly gentleman got hit crossing the street. Thank God he didn't get hurt, if he did he didn't make an issue of it. Appreciate your consideration on this matter. Thank you, Janemarie Pelland
