Three years in a row you have managed to destroy part of the grass in the boulevard! There is a green marker just like the one in the foreground bent over and broken where the plow gouged out a section of the boulevard. This has got to stop!

I appreciate the effort you took yesterday in repairing some plow damage to both the neighbor's and our yards with soil and new seed, but this is exactly what happened last year after the soil and grass seed was replaced after the sidewalk was put in. A good portion of the soil was washed down the catch basin during the rain. Notice how the stream of water is on the boulevard side of the edge of pavement? I'd prefer a curb or at least some sod planted there. New grass has no chance to grow, because the rain washes it and the soil down the drain.

The plow didn't apparently do as much damage as the previous time, but there still appears to be dirt and debris in the boulevard area. This appears to be the reason that no grass and only weeds grow along the street and a gully develops because of erosion since plowing frequently happens past the the pavement. This has become more noticeable since our sidewalk was replaced last spring and a berm several inches higher than the road was removed

This issue has been an issue since we have lived in this location. Plows come by our house and cut the gradual curve too tight. It doesn't happen with every snow event but it happens enough. This is the first time this season it has happened. Last spring, our hopes were up because the street was marked by our house and within weeks a new sidewalk was installed and new soil was put in right up to the edge of the pavement. Much of his soil was washed down into the catch basin at the end of our driveway leaving the gully that was previously there. Later in the summer I put rocks in the area of the gully on our property to help keep the erosion down. This gully still exists on our neighbor's property to the east. one downside of having the sidewalk replaced was that there used to be a bit of a "berm" of higher ground between the sidewalk and the road. That "berm" was mostly removed when the sidewalk was replaced. My wife and I would prefer a curb at this location. There was a previous issue that my wife posted about the gully before the sidewalk was replaced. The "over plowing" issue should be prevented by a curb at this slight curve. years of "over plowing" has contributed to the soil erosion on my property and the neighbor's property, because the tearing out of large areas of grass has caused erosion of the soil along the edge of the pavement. Another solution is to pave the area that the plows keep on tearing up and the gully has developed.
