Ut-201 E West Valley City, UT, 84120, USA - West Valley City

Driving north on Bangerter Hwy there are many intersections with signs that make it easy to exit or turn off the Hwy. The intersection at Hwy 201 is not one of them.

Once a driver gets "accustomed" to the clearcut signs along Bangerter, it is surprising to come upon 201 with very little warning. There is one, hard to see sign before arriving near the ramp at 201. As an afterthought, there is one small, five sided sign that is visible next to the exit "ramp" that isn't visible until one is almost past the point of being able to make it to that lane. It is easy to miss and once a driver isn't able to make that ramp, well, it's going to be quite a while before being able to get on it.

Bangerter Hwy South Jordan, UT, 84095, USA - South Jordan

FOr those driving along 11400 S, this is the only "intersection" along Bangerter Hwy that does not have a sign(s) identifying the highway as "Bangerter Hwy".

What's more, there are insufficient signs identifying which lane to take, whether to drive east or west or go north or south along the highway. There are 4 small, five sided signs that read "SR 154" with a crooked arrow that cover traffic that uses 4-5 lanes of traffic going E-W along 114000 S and as many lanes going either N or S.
The serious lack of signage, combined with the maze of visual distractions: 4-5 series of hanging traffic signals on neither side of Bangerter, power lines, business signs, and enormous amounts of vehicles, combine to create an unnecessarily complex situation.
This is the best case scenario in the day time. At night, or during adverse weather conditions, it is even more dangerous.
Besides the difficulty it has caused myself (missing a turn or getting in the wrong lane takes a great deal of effort to get back on the correct route again), it seems all too real that one day in the near future we will on line how two vehicles collided head on when one them was driving the wrong way on Bangerter after leaving from this intersection at 11400 S.
