    Bridge neglected all year and has gotten exponentially worst. Human feces, needles, glass bottles and cans litter the area. School is now open with children in the area. Many others, including myself use this bridge daily.

    The bridge has not been cleaned since the beginning of December. There should be a weekly check of this area as it is frequently trashed. Broken glass, food waste, and human feces continue to obstruct the walkway. The whole vicinity of the bridge is covered in litter. There was mention that this bridge will have more attention from the city in response to a previous post last year but all I see every day is negligence.

    What is so called "rainbow bridge" is more like "The Bridge of Broken Dreams." Covered in shattered glass from bottles, garbage, human feces, and a used condom... This is the bridge I cross everyday in a neighborhood where my property taxes shot up to downtown levels 3 yrs ago. The water pools on the bridge during the smallest rainfall, and I cannot imagine there being any corrosion prevention. This bridge needs to be checked weekly. I see the same trash on it for weeks! I even tripped on a piece of broken glass going up the stairs once. Very unsafe for any children or pets crossing.
